In multiplayer it takes up more space on an already reduced playing field.  please put the imprinted cards back to the formerly known as removed from game zone which is now called Exile where the card states in its rules text that it should be placed.  At first it was kinda cool till the game progressed to turn 5.  Space is precious to the multiplayer game mat and is already taken up by those little pyramiding boxes that seem to open whichever one you didn't click on right below my lands.  If your trying to make it "More Intuitive" "Newbie Friendly" "Easier" or whatever just paint the thing the correct colors, put tokens on it, or add rules text in blue writing like everything else is please.

I think that in physical card games, the card imprinted on Chrome Mox should be put face up under it or something like that so as to avoid having to memorize which card it was. That card is removed from the game no matter where it might be physically.
Coming up with weird ideas to make everyone happy since 2008!

I have now started a blog as an appropriate place to put my crazy ideas.

The OP is a million percent wrong.  This is a very nice visual improvement and will not be tolerated to be undone.  Thanks for the addition.

Agree with the above, the new style is far superior. Of course my opinion is coloured by my 22" wide-screen monitor, i've never had clutter issues in v3 (dock aside, obv :p)

This change is superb, it instantly solves the problem of being difficult to tell which exiled cards were associated with the multiple hideaway lands etc.

And seriously, how does this change use up screen space? It appears exactly the same as an aura enchanting a permanent.

It works great in duels, which is what I care about.

OP, they didn't make this improvement for multi-player, which has so much wrong with it I can't even begin listing it.  They made it for duels, and it is a good improvement.

I also disagree with the OP, I like the new layout on exiled cards.  I also play a lot of multi and do not have the same problems.  Do you minimize the dock when you play?

I don't play multiplayer, but in duels I like the new "imprint".  However, cards such as Circu, Dimir Lobotomist can create a rather unpleasant aesthetic when multiple cards are exiled.  Just my 2 cents (for what it's worth).

Once again its proven I am different than 98 percent of the nation in my thought patterns. Yes I agree it is exactly like an aura enchanting a permanent which in my mind is unecassary but if all the 1vs1 people are happy with the change and the few multiplayers we have left don't mind sacrificing post turn 5 gamespace then forget I mentioned it.

Well, it's EXTREMELY annoying and unintuitive in Commander games due to Commander's heavy reliance on, and use of, the Exile zone, But yes, for 1v1 it's a great change.

Hi, this is a message from WotC's HR department. We're hiring for a UI developer position for or newest version of Magic Online, to be called Version 3.
NO EXPERIENCE PLAYING OR EVEN ANY FAMILIARITY WITH MAGIC NECESSARY.

Guess what? Chicken butt.
