When we swtiched to the new format for Classic releases it was stated that hey would be in the store for the two weeks and then come back for "special events" I think that having a nix-tix week for that format should qualify. I have 3 Weatherlight packs in my inventroy and would like to BUY Mirage and Visions packs with my cold hard CASH from WOTC (not some yucky bot chain that doenst have any in stock anyway) so that I can haz complete draft sets..
Every time a draft does fire at 4-3-2-2 you will be creating 2 draft sets and 1 person stuck with and extra Visions and weatherlgith booster that he can't use as no one will sell him an Mirage booster. it will make him sad. You could also make these drafts payout 5-3-2-2 and give out complete draft sets as an alternate suggestion.
Note that i'd like to propose this for TSE as well... but It really matter from MVW as that is about to start in a couple weeks and I knew I was unable to FIND the packs I needed to draft last time so I don't expect it will be any better this time.

Things that I want to see changed on MTGO:
1: 64 man drafts added to rotation of Events.
2: Friday night Classic/Better event times for Classic.
3: Visual/Audible Notification of disconnect, deckbuild/afk time expiring and round starts.
4: Prize Payouts as close to draft sets as possible.
5: Rotate Classic draft queues monthly!
6: MOCS level events for Classic/Pauper
7: Power 9!
8: Award Promo Cards for Constructed PEs (esp for Legacy/Classic)
9: Program Split option back in!
10: Set Favorite version in deck editor (i.e. always use x swamp)
11: Better sorting of gold cards in deck editor.
12: Bring leagues Back!

In five seconds I found mirage boosters in stock at 3.5tix and visions at 5.
They're putting up nix pax along with the nix tix which is the best you'll get. Mirage boosters are not hard to find and while V/W are harder to find, as you noted the queue pays out extra V/W so that should take care of itself.

one bot chain had 10 showing on each bot (at least 3 different bots), but it capped all its packs at 10, probably had more (they were 4 each though). Only saw mirage and weatherlight on those.
Other had 67 mirage at 3.5 and 27 visions at 5.

Well I guess the extra packs found their way into the hands of some bot owners 
I guess we shall see what happens this time but the whole problem of an incomplete set after every draft is still valid.

I figured weatherlight would be hard to find, and I only found 2 bots carrying it. Visions seems to be equally hard to find. But mirage is not, so if the queues are short paying mirage there really shouldnt be any problems.

I'm trying to jog my memory... Maybe Visions was the shortpaid set? I'm thinking back they may have switched the payout midstream...

Visons was always to most expesive of the three while it was released. For a while after it went away you could get draft sets for 8 (and I did) but even then Visions was the one holding the weight.

The problem with putting packs in the store is that it alows anyone (likely a dealer) to buy 2,000 packs. Then the dealer can sell those 2,000 packs or crack them for Oaths/Null Rods. If they crack them then they might damage the secondary market that was making the draft format appealing to some. (I don't mean strictly EV here. If Oath dropped to $20, would I draft for my Oaths? Obviously not.)
Wizards may want to put a limit on the amount of MVW they're adding to circulation. If the store has a limit of 1500 of each booster then they might sell out. Thwarted.
It would be nice if the events didn't short people on boosters. But I don't think wizards can randomize the pack payouts without running foul against gambling laws. I don't think their software supports holding events where the prizes are "TTSE-TSE-TS-TE" / "TSSE-TSE-SE-TS" / "TSEE-TSE-SE-TE" rotating. Actually, that's confusing, and it might lead to people waiting for exactly the right event to join, which would be a disaster.
Maybe v3.5 or v4 will allow nix-pax events to accept boosters as 4 tix off the price? That'd be ideal. But to solve the problem today? Maybe just this once put a limited quantity in the store and hope for the best.
