Shameful behavior by WotC's MTGO team.

This story begins almost a month ago, when I Top 8ed the Core Set Constructed Weekend Challenge.

The prizes were incorrect, with people in the Top 8 only getting 3 packs. WotC manually compensated *only* upon a bug submission, and promised they would look into the matter.

Thats not the absurd thing. The absurd thing is that this has been repeated for the last 3-4 weeks straight, and they keep on promising they will "escalate" and "look into it", and it's the same darn bug over and over again!

It's JUST happened again! (I didn't Top 8 this time but a friend told me the same error happened, 3 packs, just as before).

Has the MTGO team just been *ignoring* my requests that this bug is fixed? I've contacted the Customer Support *several* times by phone and e-mail, and they have always assured me the problem would be fixed, but nothing has been done.

This is especially egregious because the problem involves taking product away from players. There will be a net loss in product given out, since not all players will submit bug reports. Thus it seems that WotC has a business incentive *not* to fix the problem in order to decrease prize payouts, but it is rather shameful.

No fatigue, in fact I'd strongly recommend people continue to do so.  It seems to be effective at getting action.

Okay, so everyone should shut up and pretend everything is fine? Genius.

Assuming the above is true (and I have no reason to doubt it), then I'd say this is a fine place to air out your greivence - or perhaps in the maligned Events Discussion area.

This problem seems systemic.  There's not much good bringing a systemic problem to cust. serv, beyond getting your refund, because systemic problems aren't solved by them.  Most cust serv. departments aren't setup to work with development or admin to actually look into the root of a problems - it's not efficient to do so.

Honestly it sound like the kind of error that is made and then simply copy & pasted week to week.  Hopefully the person who sets up the events reads this.

No.
But you ought to post when YOU have an issue and not when you only have secondhand knowledge.

Guess what? Chicken butt.

*I* had the issue for 3 weeks in a row, and did what was proper in talking to customer service each week. The *exact* same problem occured every week.
