FWIW, I'm calling them stupid for adding a Sliver deck until proven otherwise. Either 1) it's going to be a typical, fairly well-built Sliver deck, which is going to put it above most other aggro decks by default (and most non-MM existing DotP decks, for lack of sweepers), 2) it's going to be a poorly-built piece of rubbish because they were afraid of overpowering it, 3) it's going to only be moderately Sliver-oriented, again out of worry of overpowering it, and there'll be some kind of subtheme which will be pants, or 4) it will be a well-balanced deck including many varieties of Slivers but not built to be immensely overwhelimg, and the power level/number of sweepers in control decks is higher than we've ever seen in the DotP franchise (again, barring MM) and it'll all work out fine.
The problem is out of these four outcomes, only one of them is desirable, and without further proof, looks to also be the least likely.

Goblin Sharpshooter makes quick work of slivers, so who knows, especially if they made that terrible mistake of joining it with Death Pits of Rath

Slivers remind me on the Elves from DoTP 2009. Alone weak, but when they come in numbers, they will extreme buff themselfs. But like Elves, the Slivers will have a big problem: Massremoval. The sliverdeck will stay and fall with the cardadvantage, if it get a good carddraw, it will be good, without carddraw and 5 colors, it will fail hard. At all, Slivers don't look as boring like other tribal decks do, but i wish more for a fatty deck. I hope the demon deck will be interesting, because demons are strong, but with a price. And i hope so much that the dragon deck will be not it should be because to have acess to ramp to get the dragons faster.

They should give the non-Sliver, black decks Plague Sliver . Juzam Djinn -style beats and hate all in one sweet package. Or for real entertainment, bring back double decking in 2HG so we can all experience Slivers vs. Slivers. Tribal bonuses for everyone!

Also 4b. A high-powered Sliver deck that is in a meta with equally high-powered decks. So far, 2013 is the Urza block of Duels, given how much more powerful the decks are as a whole. It's not unbelievable that they would make 2014 decks again more powerful as a whole.

Loving the screen shots, also sealed sounds like it could be a lot of fun - especially online. Hope to see some more cards from the RTR block in the game too. Starting to get excited about this.

My only experience with Magic is from Duels, so sorry for being daft, but what is Sliver? I assume some kind of mechanic a deck is themed arround.
And while we're at it; affinity? (even if it's not in D2014).

@icon9 Slivers are strange creatures. Their special is, that all Slivers give other Slivers special abilities. Like this examples: Battering Sliver , Brood Sliver , Crypt Sliver and so on. The goal is to get many different Slivers on the table to overrun the opponent.
