Hey, I would love see a controll-y deck with >17 lands in limited. With some discussion of why we go 18. Peak at 3 CMC instead of 2?
I have similar troubles in casual constructed with 60 cards (compare 24+/-)

In this format? The only one I saw was 5-color base green with verdant havens and prophetic prisms, the advantage being they could play way more removal than normal and then have access to a variety of finishers. Seems like a very clunky deck, though.

I still play 17 in the 5 color control lists. They can use verdant havens/greenside watchers to ramp and cycle proph prisms to help hit land drops, there's no reason to add any more than 17.
