What is bloodrush, exactly? My best guess is an activated ability of a card which works from your hand. We were trying to decide if it was counterable (by a cancel  ) and went with no.
Cannot be relied upon^

it is an activated ability it's a bit unusual because most activated abilities are on permanents, but as you can see they can also be on cards in your hand (the strangest is still on a spell  )

Blood rush is an activated ability, you can identify it as such because it's written in the [cost]:[effect] format. The colon is important.
