Todays other GTC card to rate is... Simic Charm Spoiler:
Show
5.0: First pick no matter what. I will always play this card. 4.5: Splashable and first pick worthy. 4.0: First pick pack 1. 3.5: Early pick though not always a first pick. 3.0: Solid early/mid pick. 2.5: Solid pick in color. 2.0: Should generally make the deck if in this color. 1.5: Decent filler. 1.0: 23rd card if you have to. 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. 0.0: I will never put this card into my deck (main deck or after sideboarding).
Arguable the best charm in limited. And after playing the set more I do think it is. Boros Charm I still feel is strong but every mode on this card I've used multiple times. 3.5 Discuss!

3.5
Versatility is the strength of this card. Bounce a ciphered or enchanted guy (especially your own that has been Lashed): good. +3/3 to overcome a burn spell or an opponent's combat trick or as a combat trick to take down a big guy: good. Hexproof to foil an enchantment or removal: good.
Simic Charm won't be stuck in your hand.

This one feels more like a true-charm than the others. No default mode that gets used 85%+ of the time, all of the modes seem strong. That being said I still don't like it very much, I think 2.5 fits best.

awesome charm. all modes relevant (yes, I used this charm to ward off a turn 2 Contaminated Ground before), no strings attached (no stupid "destroy target creature, but only if it's less than 2 or only if you lose life" shenanigans) and overall just awesome

3-3.5 seems right. This is very strong and all the effects are things a Simic deck would want.

Really close to a 3.5 but doesn't quite have the first-pickability of some other 3.5s. I mean, in pack 1 it would be hard to pick this over something like a Croconura when you're not solidly cemented in Simic. I think it's the best charm in Gatecrash, though all the charms in this set are sweet.

I agree that it's a 3.5.
I also agree that it feels like a real charm as opposed to Orzhov charm which only gets used as removal (85% of the time).
This card fits the way I like to play very well so that's a plus on a subjective level!
I still think Boros Charm is the most powerful though.
bulletd Guidelines: 5.0: I will take this card no matter what. Creature 1 or playable 1 or hate 1. Domri Rade 4.5: Bomb and splashable. Creature 1-2, playable 1-2, removal 1. Obzedat, Ghost Council 4.0: Excellent first pick first pack, will sway me into same colors. Creatures 1-4, removal 1. Rubblehulk 3.5: Excellent first pack pick two, will confirm colors or possibly sway into second color. Ground Assault 3.0: Good in-color addition, or splashable removal/creature. Creatures 3-9, removal 1-3. Kingpin's Pet 2.5: Solid pick in-color; creatures 5-12, removal 3-5. Mugging 2.0: Creatures 10-16; removal 6-7. Act of Treason 1.5: My 23rd or 22nd card, depending on removal. Gutter Skulk 1.0: 23rd card if I don't maindeck an additional land. Mental Vapors 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. Shattering Blow 0.0: I will shred this card for counters. Frenzied tilling
