Hallway of Past Saints - Enchantment At the beginning of your upkeep phase, put a honored counter on ~. Remove four honored counters from ~: Put a 4/4 white Angel creature token with flying onto the battlefield; Or, creatures you control gets +2/+2 until end of turn. Murals depicting the courage and tragedy of past saints decorates the hallway, a sacred ground revered by the people and watched by the angels.

Pavidus - This is barely a drawback. At worst, it equates to "this creature can't block" (ok, if the opponent happens to have instants then they can fog it during your combat phase, but how often will you care?) At best, it's like hexproof and indestructible together. That's pretty good for a 4/4 for two mana. The flavor is funny.
Just pointing out is says "post-combat mainphase", so if they play a spell during their pre-combat mainphase, Pavidus cannot attack or block for that turn.

Stone Sculpturer
Creature - Gorgon Wizard First strike All other creatures are white Enchantments in addition to their other types and colours. "Imperfections are easier to remove when you're not made of flesh and blood..."3/4 Would be in a set with lots of enchantment removal, I suppose.

Inferno Mage Creature - Dwarf WizardAt the beginning of your upkeep, put a pyre counter on Inferno Mage. , remove X pyre counters from Inferno Mage: Inferno Mage deals X damage to each creature your opponents control. Some wizards learned that bottling up your emotions until they erupt isn't necessarily a bad thing.2/2

These cards are Ball Tightening.
Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else.
Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either monocellular or mutant aberrations.
Graveborn are strictly better than Zombies. I mean, look at that wicked beard . You try growing that when your dead. And I know aging fellows who are suffering from Male Pattern Baldness, who would kill for a Mop like Ribsy's over there.
Hey Dudibus, I can't take you seriously until you take your shirt off!

Sorry! For some reason I read it as pre combat main phase. Did you originally write that and edit it later or am I just pre-post dyslexic?

I did edit the design a bit and didn't say, so it's partly my fault if you committed my design to memory for some reason .

Nah, people edit contest entries up until grading occurs all the time, I need to read the cards. But it's a good example of why you should use standard times for things to trigger, so people don't make mistakes. I just realised that you probably wanted it to be a creature during the cleanup step, but that's probably not necessary. Just make it become a forest until the end of your turn.

Overworked Golem Artifact Creature - Golem~ enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it. Whenever ~ attacks, remove a +1/+1 counter from it and each player draws a card. : Put a +1/+1 counter on ~. Any player may activate this ability. When ~ dies, each player discards their hand. "You really should give that thing a rest."*/* Man is this convoluted. Oh well.

Endless Regiments of the Untameable Tribal Enchantment- Squirrel At the beginning of your upkeep, put X 1/1 green Squirrel tokens onto the battlefield, where X is the number of Squirrel permanents you control. The power of exponential growth was realised only when the walls of Dragonsgate fell to the wild, followed soon by the Badlands to the north. By the hundred and second of winter, the squirrels held the whole plane in their powerful, furry grasp.

I was trying to find a good balance between useable and removable. The indestructibility was more to prevent YOU from removing it than the opponent. I was going for a "You better be damn sure about putting this on the board" It proved a bit too much to undertake. At the end of the day I wanted it to be a tempting trap for both sides: Opponent: "Well I could remove it, but hes losing permanents fast..." vs. "Well, he has no creatures on the board, I think I can get away with playing it early". Shadowing Shaper Creature - ShapeshifterWhenever Shadowing Shaper blocks or becomes blocked by a creature, Shadowing Shaper becomes a copy of that creature and gains this ability. 0/1
