Oh hey newcomer inbound.  Don't know if I just missed the deadline but this thread combined with my relatively fresh intrest in edh inspired me to post a card.  Still split on whether it should cost 5 or 6 mana but w/e.

At the beginning of your upkeep, the player with the most permanents loses 1 life for each permanent he or she controls and the player with the least permanents gains 1 life for each permanent he or she controls.
: each player loses 1 life for each card in their hand.

It was originally sac a noncreature when you cast a creature and draw a card, but I had to make it multiplayer. Can I still change it? Maybe make it z monger, or change the first to sac a noncreature when you play a creature, or the other way around.

~'s Power and toughness are equal to the number of cards in all players' hands.

Whenever you play a forest, draw a card.

Acidic Slime, Creeping Mold, Feast of Worms, Ice Storm, Kudzu, Mwonvuli Acid-Moss, Rain of Thorns, Reap and Sow, Rolling Spoil, Spreading Algae, Thermokarst, and Winter's Grasp would all like to have a word with you.

Yeah, sure, destroying lands is predominantly red, even though the most famous one is white.
That doesn't make it land destrustion's one and only color.

no,i'm not talking about destroying land in general. I'm talking about the attrition -style "Each player Sac this". Green is more about preserverance. It does one sided destruction without hurting himself.
"Let's all sac something and I don't care about myself" is a bit red.
"Let's all sac something but you are gonna hurt more" is closer to black.

I didn't say it out loud but the general I'm looking for , besides that it has to playable, is a general with something that a certain color combination has yet to offer. This one is great!! The lose life part could potentially hurt a lot, especially in an edh game. And the gain life part is probably relevant as well. I also like how it plays on the color and balance without invoking the banned card outright. Red does hate on big hands. Rakdos' old mechanic was hellbent. white supplies the gain life and care for the meek. It's strongly favors attrition style without playing around with "sacrifice" (which appears on every other black and white general lol).

As I have mentioned in above comments and a few posts up. I'm mainly looking for something different. An upgrade multani, maro-sorcerer wouldn't quite make the cut. I love the reference though. It's a great design but just not for this contest.

Interesting comments on my card.  I've never played Commander so its difficult to design for it.  I find it very taxing to build a 100 card deck based on singeltons.  I'd love to do it, but the perfectionist Johhny in me would force me to spend like 6 weeks building the damn deck.

I am a big johnny too. I used to have a hard time filling all the slots. Heck, my first general was sliver queen (just coz' i didn't really have any good legends) and I almost had probably getting it fill up to 100.

Now there are so many cards I want to play and so many staples when i play a certain color that I have a hard time cutting down to 100 cards lol.

Glad you like the comments. Thanks for participating. XD

I'm split between Fallingman, SuperSpawnWrithe, and fifty_cal

Fallingman: The more a read your card the more I love it. I wasn't aware the tokens were flying during the first read. Since EDH is mostly filled with utility creatures, flying feels even more relevant in this format than in limited/constructed. I like the idea of that each card now has two purposes in your deck.

SuperSpawnWrithe: As I have praised in my original comments, I am so glad that we finally have a "smart" commander. Seriously, all the existing ones are so "dumb".

fifty_cal: I thoroughly enjoy the aspect where you hit on the meta. Card advantage is at even higher importance as resource and tempo become less of an issue than in other format. This cards outrights says screw you blue (draw) and green (land fetches), and unite the three colors that have the least direct ways to get ahead in card advantage.

Does anyone have any input? maybe you want to pitch in which commander you like best? Any thing that can tie break for me would be great.
