Todays GTC card to rate is... Master Biomancer Spoiler:
Show
5.0: First pick no matter what. I will always play this card. 4.5: Splashable and first pick worthy. 4.0: First pick pack 1. 3.5: Early pick though not always a first pick. 3.0: Solid early/mid pick. 2.5: Solid pick in color. 2.0: Should generally make the deck if in this color. 1.5: Decent filler. 1.0: 23rd card if you have to. 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. 0.0: I will never put this card into my deck (main deck or after sideboarding).
This guy is nuts. He is easily a first pick pack one or two and if you are one of the colors already he is easily worth the splash. This guy can really make things get out of hand quickly. 4.5-5 Discuss!

4.5-5.0. I got in a discussion recently about this versus Obzedat in draft, and I think this wins out. I can't really think of a better card in this set. Aurelia, perhaps?

I'll go 4.5-5.0 as well. Alas the only time I drafted it (P1P1) I was completely shut out of Simic.

Master Biomancer is a bad man. I'd say 5. He's slow, but if he's not answered, your opponent is in for a world of hurt.

Get this guy, then run the creatures that give counter bonues. Add evolvers, including Snapjaw, and maybe even the 1/4 defender. Creatures will be absolute beasts unless an opponent takes immediate action.

Too slow and reliant on other cards to be a 5 but his power is evident.
4.0
bulletd Guidelines: 5.0: I will take this card no matter what. Creature 1 or playable 1 or hate 1. Domri Rade 4.5: Bomb and splashable. Creature 1-2, playable 1-2, removal 1. Obzedat, Ghost Council 4.0: Excellent first pick first pack, will sway me into same colors. Creatures 1-4, removal 1. Rubblehulk 3.5: Excellent first pack pick two, will confirm colors or possibly sway into second color. Ground Assault 3.0: Good in-color addition, or splashable removal/creature. Creatures 3-9, removal 1-3. Kingpin's Pet 2.5: Solid pick in-color; creatures 5-12, removal 3-5. Mugging 2.0: Creatures 10-16; removal 6-7. Act of Treason 1.5: My 23rd or 22nd card, depending on removal. Gutter Skulk 1.0: 23rd card if I don't maindeck an additional land. Mental Vapors 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. Shattering Blow 0.0: I will shred this card for counters. Frenzied tilling

I really like him, but have to agree with your rating only because he is not splashable.
That said, not sure what you mean in that it relies on other cards. The only thing it relies on is that you cast creature, and from what I can tell, GTC is shaping up to be on the more creature intensive side especially since you have creatures that double as spells.
One best-case scenario I saw was drop him turn 4, attack on turn 5, pump with Slaughterhorn, and then drop a 5/6 flying Cloudfin Raptor and a 8/6 flying, trampling Drakewing Krasis.

What UA means is that if you don't have creatures to follow up with, then this guy is .... a 2/4 creature. Think topdeck mode, you need something that can turn things around. Would you rather topdeck this... Or merciless eviction , aurelia's fury , heck even dinrova horror , cards that immediately change the game state.

Correct! 5.0 is rare territory and it must either be a card that can easily win by itself or a card that can change the game state dramatically when it is cast.
This card is awesome but it's a 4.0
