Disciple.
We have a defensive 1-drop and a 2-drop that's a bomb we're generally going to see go live lategame here. If our curve starts at 3 we'll do that stupid thing that gruul decks generally do which is to get into the game too late to actually be able to make any decent choices.
Lets fix our curve with a good 2-drop now when we can rather than having to get desperate and take pretty much anything down the line. Come to think of it we'll probably be doing that anyways...
We've got 2 good 3-drops. Warmind is decent in general and good in a different deck. A bear that threatens on the defense is right up our alley.
With 2 bodies in each key slot going into this and our 4-drop slots being pure gold we can afford to stay picky if we take the disciple now.
And, moving forward, lets be aware that we'd really like/need to pick up another 5+ representatives of that range in the next 23 cards.
Luckily, we have stop-having-fun guys to remind us that having anything more than 60 cards in your deck is tantamount to being a rapist and anyone considering it should be strung up by their **** .

Disciple seems to fit the currently building draft.

I'm a Rules Advisor now "Simple questions" usually need rather complex answers, while complex questions often come down to no more than a simple "yes" or "no". Some of my favorite Flavor texts:

Beast seems like a easy pick, after passing the Warmind.

Ember beast. Although the simic guildgate was tempting.

Still somewhat tilted toward . Playables so far: 1CMC: Mugging , Wasteland Viper * 2CMC: Disciple of the Old Ways , Pit Fight , Prophetic Prism , Skarrg Guildmage , Tower Defense 3CMC: Crocanura , Slaughterhorn * 4CMC: Crowned Ceratok , 2x Ghor-Clan Rampager ** 5CMC: Assemble the Legion needs 6CMC: Ruination Wurm XCMC: Biomass Mutation * for bloodrush CMCs Nothing off-color really worth jamming in. Skullcrack is a simple face spell that rarely gives an extra bonus. Furious Resistance is a good combat trick, but only works on defense. Naturalize is the headliner for "sideboard card." Ember Beast is cost-effective, but requires other creatures. A 3/4 for is too good a deal to pass up. It's strong and fits the curve so far. Resistance is a distant second, being blocking only really hurts. I'd rather pay or but work on offense, too.
