i've seen 4 color control running not black, and running not green. I think not black has the best mana base, and not green is too wonky without farseek.

So no Revelation, O-ring, Sphere, or Angels?

I'd have a hard time with no white putting up a great list in 4 colors.

Verdict and Terminus are probably more important by spades than O-Ring, Sphere, maybe even Angels.

It is 4-color. Black is the lowest-count splash, however, and the deck is based around the RUG core. Black gives better removal and finishers.

And it's better than Esper because you get to run cards that are actually good right now, instead of hoping you can god-draw against aggro.
