In the Duskmantle Delver deck reviewed here http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/deck/1180 It says, " Aside from Duskmantle Seer, the only card in this deck that costs more than two mana is a single Counterflux"
He forgot there's a Dissipate main deck.

something like that grizzle-storm deck just placed second at SCG las vegas, idk if Sam posted this article before that, but it's a bit more of an impressive showing that 3-1 in a daily .

Tin-Fins: the goal of a group of MTGthesource regulars was to get Griselbrand banned.

I really liked seeing the alternative sketches for Skinbrand Goblin. Thank you for sharing this sort of Arcana.

It's a couple of days late, but I've been trying to figure it out and don't exactly get it.
Why Lightning Axe in the Modern Sneak and Show list? I get that it's removal and that it lets you discard, as well as being red for Fury of the Horde, but as a singleton that isn't exactly a powerhouse, it seems really odd.

Okay... So apparently, the Gruul owe a lot of money because, you know, they're warmongers and just keep raiding places all the time. The obvious people who they owe are the Orzhov, right? So what do you do? You go to war with the people who loaned you the money! Brilliant!

It does just what you need early on: put a creature in the graveyard and protect you from faster decks / disruptive creatures.. People have played 4, but 1-2 is probably a better choice because you don't want multiples.
It's thr kind of thing I like to see, really: not a random powerhouse, just the right tool for the job.
