It's a good set for the Knight, but I can't help but see an Esper Stormblade is also in the pack. Getting a 3/2 flyer for 2 CMC is exceptional and it's in the main color-wheel of the deck.

If you thought that Gatecrash cards like Wojek Halberdiers and Daring Skyjek were strong, they didn't have anything on the Stormblades.

Being in 5 color I'd like to value highly the Glassdust Hulk and Igneous Pouncer.... they're in our heavier colors... and fix/cycle if we get stuck.

But I don't think we can ignore the Knight of New Alara

I agree with this.  I think the Knight is worth the pick here but otherwise I would take the Pouncer.

Not saying we shouldn't pick it, but we only have 4 multicolor creatures right now, and I'm not sure we're playing all of them.  While AR solves that problem with the all-multicolor o some extent, I felt the need to at least point that out.

I remember really liking Sewn-Eye Drake back at the time, but this was also my first full block of drafting, so take any recommendations I have with a masive dose of salt.

All that said, I'll support the Knight, but wouldn't argue with just about anything else mentioned.

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that Esper Stormblade is the pick here. Having drafted the set I remember the Stormblades dominating early games, and the Esper Stormblade being the best one. It really was a 3/2 flyer that could attack on turn 3 most of the time.

Terminate

If we stay in Grixis and don't go 5 color this is great. If we run harder into 5 color this is great.

Other good news, we'll probably get a borderpost back from this pack.
