2.5 3.5 is way too high for just about every aura.

@Ownerofcats -I would ignore Lobster, he's not a mod and he has been selectively giving praise and scorn based on how well people agree with him as of late.

"Way too high" doesn't have much of a tone to it, it's voicing disagreement.

Which you are free to do. Just cut out the cat non-sense and continue to evaluate the cards.
bulletd Guidelines:

5.0: I will take this card no matter what. Creature 1 or playable 1 or hate 1. Domri Rade
4.5: Bomb and splashable. Creature 1-2, playable 1-2, removal 1. Obzedat, Ghost Council
4.0: Excellent first pick first pack, will sway me into same colors. Creatures 1-4, removal 1. Rubblehulk
3.5: Excellent first pack pick two, will confirm colors or possibly sway into second color. Ground Assault
3.0: Good in-color addition, or splashable removal/creature. Creatures 3-9, removal 1-3. Kingpin's Pet
2.5: Solid pick in-color; creatures 5-12, removal 3-5. Mugging
2.0: Creatures 10-16; removal 6-7. Act of Treason
1.5: My 23rd or 22nd card, depending on removal. Gutter Skulk
1.0: 23rd card if I don't maindeck an additional land. Mental Vapors
0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. Shattering Blow
0.0: I will shred this card for counters. Frenzied tilling

I too am a fan of the artwork and not a fan of Auras in this set. I think I'll give it a 3.0 since it turns virtually any creature into a threat your opponent must spend removal to eliminate and often the removal is at sorcery speed so you still get a big life swing the turn you play it.

2.5 for me.

It's a great enchantment, and one I'm generally happy to run.  But I think you're over-valuing it a bit.

It's basically going to give +1/1 and flying for 2cc.  Of course you get the lifelink, which CAN help in a tight game....but this is mostly likely going to be played on a 2/2, so it probably isn't going to gain you but 3 life at the most.  If your opponent has no answer, then it looks great...but any flyer would work as well.

Although I do like a few auras in the set....the obvious 2-for-1 situation is a very real worry.  Even more since this is an aggressive minded card

You're right with me on this one.

I love to have one in my deck, even two depending on the build and how my removal looks but i like it in a similar way to Madcap Skills (which is a better card.). Both of these cards can change the game quite quickly and at a relatively low cost. The 3 CMC is a bit of a concern here as you can't whack early enough.

I like hitting for four on turn 2 with Madcap as they probably can't answer it before I deal 4-8 damage. This card is more subject to removal as it doesn't raise the toughness much and it can still be blocked by one creature (spirit token, bat, what have you).

It also is, as you say an aggressive minded card. Good card, but not anywhere near 3.5

This card has been an all star for me, especially in Boros.  The flying is a huge benefit and I think I rate this equally with Mad-cap skills (I know sitting on the fence is unhelpful).  I think 3.5 for me.

Don't feel like you have to pick one card over another.

Sometimes it's ok to keep it in doubt and let situations dictate which is better.

I think 3-3.5 is about right (and that theownerofcats should cut out that tone). I like this better than Madcap Skills but its color requirements can be harder.

I thought you like blunt tones? Lighten up m' man. I think it is way too high, I have every right to say it. You are not the only dude who can make disagreeing statements. Ya hear?

Enough is enough.

I have nothing against you Urza but I feel I must say something to this.  Lobster has been a member of these boards for quite a while and has been an integral part of the limited forums for as long as I've been doing my drafts and card reviews.  So in this debate I must side with him.

I do hope that all of this will go away on it's own though and we won't have so much bickering.

And Urza this isn't all going at you because I do think you are a very good contributor to the message boards.  However I do believe theownerofcats often times likes to be a spammer/troll.  Sometimes he contributes things but other times he doesn't.
