Yuuuuuuki..... Sorry I just realized, hadn't read that in so long. At least I think that's what's going on here.
Don't worry. Yuno is here for you.

I think trying to remember the amount of cards drawn would get too confusing. I propose:
"draw a card, then exile the top card of your library for each card in your hand. You may repeat this process any number of times"
At least you will never be in doubt as to how many cards are exiled
It's no more confusing than Cerebral Vortex .
The difference is that Cerebral Vortex deals damage one time while Hypergraphia on the other hand will exile cards multiple times over.
Although as long as you have a die handy it shouldn't be that difficult to keep track of I suppose. I concede

How hard is it to increment the number of cards you draw by one every time you repeat? No one can do any actions in between because it's in the middle of a spell resolution, so at the very most you're going to have to remember the number you had from like five seconds ago.

the problem is, unlike ad nauseam, you know the cost before you make the decision. also milling doesn't make much difference until you're in danger of dying, so this can easily draw 5 or so cards at instant speed for 5. unlike nauseam, where even if you don't actually kill yourself with it you're likely helping your opponent's plan, there's very few decks in competitive magic that aim to win by 'fair' mill, so you're not actually putting yourself any closer to losing.
5 mana gets you 3 cards, this tops out at getting you 1-4-5 2-6-12 3-8-21 4-10-32 5-12-45
4 safetly, 5 if it is relatively early in the game and you don't have other card draw. 6 says you need to win this turn.
That doesn't get you a whole lot further than Mind Spring , and it is absolutely terrible in multiples. I actually find this to be fairly balanced.
nah 5 is hella safe. it's only 35 cards gone.
does anyone here read typelines anymore?
120.6. Some effects replace card draws.

I would have to play with it to see, but you are likely correct that it is no more confusing than keeping track of both mana and storm count at the same time.
