Since the Dragon's Maze pre-release is going to give you a guild, and then a secret allied guild, I've been looking for tips as to what some of the pairs may be. I think I've found one: Boros and Izzet. Watch this video and listen at 3:50. www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8Njof5V8bw Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the allied guild will vary. There will be 4 6 possible for each guild you pick.

Your second guild pack will be randomly selected from any guild that shares a colour. In the case of Boros, your second guild pack could be Izzet, Gruul, Azorius, Selesnya, Orzhov or Rakdos. So, you're half right, you can indeed have Izzet and Boros in the same pack.

Your second guild is from any guild that shares a color from the other set.
Boros can have Izzet, Azorius, Rakdos, or Selesnya.

It was in the updated Arcana - they listed that each Guild could have a pairing from the other set that shared a colour, and gave the relevant four examples.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

Aurelia denounced Niv Mizzet  after the Warmind Initiative  was completed.
Also, I feel the need to point out that guild alliances shift constantly. It's basically like any parliament ever.
