I finally got my playset of Angel of Glory's Rise so I thought I'd post this deck. What do you think?

4 x Soul Warden
4 x Soul's Attendant
4 x Doomed Traveler
4 x Helionaut
4 x Fiend Hunter
4 x Mentor of the Meek
4 x Captain of the Watch
4 x Angel of Glory's Rise
4 x Ashnod's Altar
4 x Elixir of Immortality
4 x Buried Ruin
16 x Plains

The biggest weakness is graveyard removal like Grafdigger's Cage  so I was thinking of swapping the Attendants for Oblivion Ring s but I'm not sure.

First of all, what does the Helionaut actually do in this deck...? You're mono-white, you don't need color fixing, and he's a small body to boot. If anything, swap HIM out for Oblivion Rings.

Other than that, I would say more land. Since you don't have reanimation like Unburial Rites or Breath of Life , you have to hardcast your angel. Yes, you have lifegain to survive, but running more than 20 lands. Yes, you can use the altar, but having to rely on keeping enough creatures on board to use the altar can be...hectic. Also, Buried Ruin seems very out of place too... You can't recur the Elixer, as it shuffles back into your deck. So it's just protection for your Altar, but I doubt that's worth sacrificing a land and having colorless mana.

Another card to consider is Emeria, the Sky Ruin . Just 1 or 2 copies and a few more lands would REALLY help this deck. Also, it'd allow you to bring the Angel back every turn, who in turn brings everyone ELSE back. Very solid.

Other than that, maybe find an outlet for using the Altar's outside of casting the Angel. Sadly, can't think of any X spells besides Alabaster Potion which is just a win more really. Unless you splash another color.

Anyways, cool deck. Love the Angel. Good luck.

Decree of Justice is a nice dump, since you have soldier support. I would maybe drop the Elixir to 2 and definitly stick in a set of O-Rings.

Why are you running Elixers in here? I'm all for the Elixers in most decks, but here you want to fill your grave for the angel... not shuffle it back in and start over... You need removal of some sort, as it stand your deck doesnt have any protection, just about anything would do ( Disenchant , O-ring , ect...). Keep in mind you can flicker the Angel using Cloudshift and get the effect again and again without having to hardcast over and over. Cloudshift can also save your creatures from removal and with the right timing exile two creatures via fiend hunter (one permanently and the second under him).

I personally like the idea of using Geist-Honored Monk here, it will generate lots of fliers and become huge via the Fiend Hunter, Angel and Alter combo you got going on.

Hope this Helps.
How to autocard: Spoiler: Show

[c]Blaze[/c] = Blaze

you can also...

[deck]
38 Relentless Rats
22 Swamp
[/deck]
=
38 x Relentless Rats
22 x Swamp

Ok I think some people arn't seeing the beauty of this deck, the angel+altar+hunter is an Inf. loop that returns all humans from the grave and gives you inf.mana.
1. you play the altar
2. sac any of your creatures in play to get out the angel
3. play fiend hunter on the angel
4. sac the hunter to the altar
5. the angel comes back
6. the angel brings back the hunter which goes back on the angel
7.sac the hunter & repeat till your happy.
The rest of the cards in here are mostly toolbox cards that interact with the combo in fun ways. The captain & traveler gives you Inf. creatures, the warden gives you inf. life, and the mentor gives you card draw.

The helionaut is in here for the only mana fix this needs, turning the colorless mana white which lets you play all those cards you draw once your lands get tapped out. I was going to go with Avacyn's Pilgrim but didn't want to splash green. The Naut would also let me do some nasty things I've been think about, Anger Selhoff Occultist Hurricane or Blood Seeker (with a second hunter) lets you win on that turn without waiting till the next to attack. This deck runs good on just 3 mana, and the altar is the most important card and the only one really needing protection. The Outlet for the altar is all the extra cards you draw from the mentor.

I had already noticed I don't need more than 1-2 elixar's but hadn't thought of that card, thanks.

The elixer is in here mainly to get back all my non-human spells, mainly the angel or altar but also the protection& removal when I add it. It's also incase they interupt my game plan, pop my angel, I dig too far in my deck, or they play something that stops attacks like Blazing Archon . Cloud shift won't let you loop like the alter will, and I only have to cast the Angel & hunter once then let thier abilities bring each other back over and over. I was using the traveler for the flying tokens because he's cheaper(both CMC and $-wise) but the monk could work too.

3 x Mentor of the Meek
3 x Captain of the Watch
4 x Angel of Glory's Rise

4 x Ashnod's Altar
4 x Oblivion Ring
2 x Elixir of Immortality
4 x Buried Ruin
16 x Plains
