honestly, the best learning tool is to go out and play. go to FNM, ask questions, get advice from people in person. i think it's difficult to convey the ideas over the internet, but if you can see things working in person, they'll be much more impactful on you. there should be enough people at any given FNM who are more than happy to answer questions, give advice, make suggestions, tell you play situations, etc.

So far I've mostly been playing online. However, I was hoping to go to an FNM at some point in the near future, and wanted a usable standard deck for when I did. I will take your advice though, and ask amongst the people I play. Thanks
