Switch to Forum Live View Regeneration Redundant?

Are two instances of Regenerate redundant, or will the creature be saved the next two times it would be destroyed that turn?  I'm wondering because of an effect like the one on Illusionist's Bracers .

Yes, multiple regeneration shields are cumulative.  Do to the nature of replacement effects, only 1 shield will be used up per Destruction event.

and sometimes, one shield can save a permanent against two destructions

eg. Planar Cleansing destroying a totem armor twice
