I'm honestly not sure how to cost this. Either 3 or 4 cmc in seems right, but I'm not sure, especially with buyback. Any thoughts?

Should probably cost like 6. I'm not sure how to word it to explain why this is broken, but trust me, repeatable cascade at 4 is like the sweet spot for shenanigans.

CL's right in that it seems insane, for me it's because it pays for it's own buyback cost.
Gas every turn regardless of what you draw seems pretty strong to me.

You can do things like use a bunch of 3cmc land destruction cards ( Stone Rain etc) to turn this into a repeatable LD effect. But then again, you can already do that in Modern just by using a bunch of different cascade cards which can sometimes give you chain-cascades and its not exactly broken.

You get a free spell every turn, and LD is the best you can think of?

Ironically making it cost 6 makes it better. At 6 you get a larger variety of spells. Granted at a higher cost per turn. I could almost see this at 2.... or am I crazy?
