because Modern Masters comes out in a few months
Modern is the format for this PTQ season as well, so everything seems to have jumped in response.
My forum good deeds. Fortunately, left unpunished: Spoiler:

How much do you think Dark Confidant will drop in price, if any, when Modern Masters is released?
Reprints drop everything's price, but I'd need to know the print run of MM first.
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

Please forgive a quick tangent by adding to the Modern Masters discussion. I do not get this "limited run" decision. If MM is only sold in the LGSs, and for a higher price, pretty much any MM card will be more expensive and have a lower print run than the original card is now, and with Magic already being expensive enough, MM can only steal from a player's Standard money pool.
I elaborate: if MM reprints Bob, that reprint Bob will have a smaller print number than the original. And this difference will be even larger for commons and uncommons, which in their original printings, like Bob, were available at Walmart and Target. (I wasn't around for that but I assume that Magic cards have been available at Walmart and Target for many years).
If MM is not available at Walmart and Target, and is not priced like the regular packs-and both of the former are true; it has a high probability of being a lesser failure than Commander's Arsenal, but not the thing that will bring out the modern-playing zombies out of their graves.
Unless there is an interesting change in art / card face for MM then most likely the originals will be worth more.

Yep. No new art at all. Certainly none that would look anything like this.
Also, relevant:
229 Reprint Cards for the Modern Format, many with new art

Yeah Dark Confidant is undoubtedly getting new art. Won't look like Bob anymore.
"Rock beats scissors, paper beats rock, scissors beat paper, rock beats scissors..." I'm not interested in what card beats what. That's a circular discussion.

Am I the only one who feels Planar Chaos/Future Sight cards look better in their original borders?
