Not to hog the thread, but going X=4 means that you have to cast Servitude for 7... casting it for 5 sounds MUCH better to me. I also think the card draw from Elvish Visionary is going to be key here to get all your pieces up and running.

You're making good points.  Got distracted by etb perhaps and lack of good stuff in GB.  Another reason 7 wouldn't be hard to get and servitude possibly made an afterthought, is the Crypt Ghast.

Still, worth it for what you say.

Double posted, I know.  Tossed up both versions.  2 CMC looks better to me too.

Rats and Black Cats, nice. I like the 2 cmc version a lot on the theory side. Let me know how it plays out!!

The 2 cmc variant is looking good.

We need to ditch the pack rat for anything else of value. Maybe we just add in 2 Soul of the Harvest since it has trample, provides the etb value, and is big enough to end a game occasionally. However I'd look for more 2 cmc cards first.

I went with:

-1  Ravenous Rats
+1 Black Cat
-2 Pack Rat
+3 Undercity Informer
+2 Soul of the Harvest

So far the deck is lacking 1 card for a 22 land version; could just go with 23.  Decided that random discard was better than the other.  I looked at the deck after I went with the informers to cycle things and have the occasional emergency blocker with Harvester and Lotleth.

I'm getting twitchy because this deck isn't interractive... aside the discard.  I want to have some form of disruption.  I think that's more Legacy views coming in, though.

Updated.

I think Deathrite Shaman might be amazeballs here. Better than Informer. Reach, mana bump, stall, disruption against reanimator.

Hrm.  Three or four of them?  Four may be hard to fit now that I have removed the informers.

EDITed OP:

-1 Grisly Salvage
-1 Abrupt Decay
-1 Black Cat
+3 Deathrite Shaman
