How do the Dark Ritual s do for you? Simply because your deck tops out at 3 with many 1 and 2 drops, and your 3 drops aren't all that impressive (not like a turn 1 Hypnotic Specter or anything). Basically, it seems a little unnecessary here.

In terms of other cards you could include, if you want to continue topping out at 3 you probably can't include too many 3 drops, but Cemetery Reaper and Undead Warchief would give you a bigger lord suit. Zombie Master offers no buff, but the regeneration is cheap, and if you decide to run Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth then the swampwalk it gives becomes incredibly relevant (its won me many a game).

Also, if you decide to go for a slightly fatter deck, Korlash, Heir to Blackblade can get pretty fat, has its own regen, and its Grandeur synergises well with Lord of the Undead . Plaguebearer is a zombie that combos well with more mana, and if you were keen to include enough mana to support a fatter zombie deck, then you could always go with an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Cabal Coffers engine, supported by Expedition Map and Beseech the Queen to set it up.

Finally, if you keep it as is with a low curve and more potential power, Gravecrawler and Geralf's Messenger are quite potent.
I'm all about super-control in MTG. If you're able to stop my shenanigans, then there aren't enough shenanigans.

Shockingly enough, I'm gonna agree with that outlook on Dark Rit. As big a fan as I am of them, I think they're a little underwhelming here. Just not enough shock and awe to justify them.

I like the way  Gravecrawler  and Fleshbag Marauder work together too.

Orgionally I had korlash and undead warchief, but the deck just seemed kinda slow. I could put them back, I have 3 tomb of Urbogs I could add to try the cabal coffers.

The issue I'm having now is the deck is fast, but it just doesn't really have a ko punch cept for the hammer, which only seems to really work with highborn ghoul.

I'd rather not go swampwalk though I do have zombie masters, mainly because I have a merfolk deck that rely's on islandwalk.

i probably wouldnt play hammer here and certainly not 4.

the deck isnt fast and if it was KO cards wouldnt be an issue. you need much more 1 drops to be fast

black doesnt have much in the form of overrun or mirror entity, the only cards that come to mind are hatred and sorin's vengeance

Let's put it this way, it's not fast like a gobbo deck, but compared to a eariler version I had it runs fast. What I ment by it running fast is that it runs like how I wanted it to.

My issue is aside from the one combo I mentioned, it has no win mechanic.

It's like this deck can't win without the hammer.

It's orgional incarnation used to win with polluter receycled by lord of undead.

Eldrazi Monument and Damnation can be quite effective.

Hatred and trample gets it done.

Gempalm Polluter and Endless Ranks of the Dead can do big chunks of damage.

Lots of ways to put this over the top. Just keep thinking outside the box. Think Simple.

Damnation is out of my price range. Always regretted not buying them when they were much cheaper back in the day.

I'll try to rework it.

With the Cabal Coffers thing going on, Plague Wind may not be out of the question, and then you don't have to worry about Eldrazi's M. I know Plague Wind is crazy expensive, and everyone says it's useless because if it, but if you can make lots of mana, it's a pretty darn effective card, and has it's uses.

So I reworked it.

I play against alot of creature heavy decks, so this might work. Did I make it worse? Feel free to tear it up.

4 x cabal coffers
3 x urborg, tomb of yawgmoth

4 x terror
3 x grimoire of the dead
3 x life's finale
4 x sudden spoiling
4 x ghoulcaller's chant

4 x festering goblin
4 x highborn ghoul
4 x diregraf ghoul
4 x Death Baron
4 x Korlash, Heir to Blackblade
