So I couldn't tap the throne, choose the top then as an instant activate the top's ability which should take place before the sacrifice goes through once the stack resolves?
you choose one ability to activate and you do it completely
so if you choose Throne, the Proliferate ability goes on the stack awaiting resolution and you tap Throne and sacrifice an artifact (you could use Throne or Top) and the activation is complete
now, you can't activate Top if you just sacced it to the Throne activation, can you?
