This is a basic skeleton of what a friend at my local store has been throwing about. It seems quite potent.

// Lands
24 duals and 2 Wolf run.

// Creatures
4 [DKA] Huntmaster of the Fells
4 [GTC] Master Biomancer
3 [M13] Thragtusk
4 [RTR] Izzet Statocaster
3 [AVR] Nightshade Peddler
3 [GTC] Prime Speaker Zegana

// Spells
4 [M13] Farseek
3 [AVR] Bonfire of the Damned
3 [RTR] Mizzium Mortars
2 [AVR] Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
3 [RTR] Counterflux
2 [M13] Garruk, Primal Hunter

Thoughts?

It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.

It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

I like this, it seems playable. I don't don't really like the peddler, but I have no idea what I'd remove for it... did he take this to FNM last night? if so, do you know how he did?
How to autocard: Spoiler: Show

[c]Blaze[/c] = Blaze

you can also...

[deck]
38 Relentless Rats
22 Swamp
[/deck]
=
38 x Relentless Rats
22 x Swamp

Staticaster and Peddler is cute, but reliant on keeping a 1/1 alive. I understand the idea though; EoT flash in the Caster, kill something, untap kill something else. That's still a 2 card combo to potentially take care of 2 threats on your opponent's side of the field, and caster is absolutely mediocre without it. You can argue Biomancer makes them survivable, but then you're relying on a 3 card combo to safely kill 2 guys. Clan Defiance has the potential to do that as well as just dome them for the win and call it a day, not to mention he's in colors for it

Mortars should likely be Pillars? Triple red triple green double blue by turn 6 is a stretch no matter how many duals you're running, and the list looks like it rolls over to hyper aggressive aggro.

Dissipate seems better than Counterflux in every way. Exiling feels much more relevant than Counterflux's overload.

Not running little Garruk here is a crime, as it utilizes Biomancer to the fullest and is good even without it.

If he does stick to the Peddler+Staticaster combo, I'd strongly suggest Simic Charm. Charm synergizes with Biomancer if you have the mana for it, has 3 potential ways of saving your guy, is a combat trick, and a way to stall your opponent.

Mystic Genesis seems good as a 1 or 2 of.

The deck seems soft to hastey guys, so Rapid Hybridization may be an unfortunate neccessity.

Just spitballing ideas, may work on a list in a little bit.
