Since todays 3 cards were all rare/mythic I decided to do the next 3 as well.

Anyway, this guy is really solid.  He's got a nice body for a flyer and in dimir the mill can be really helpful.

It's unclear without playing the set how helpful this card will be, but 2.5 seems like a good place to start.

This card seemed ok when it was played against me the other night.

Got extorting twice upon casting, then it milled me 6 cards and traded with my Griffin.
bulletd Guidelines:

5.0: I will take this card no matter what. Creature 1 or playable 1 or hate 1. Domri Rade
4.5: Bomb and splashable. Creature 1-2, playable 1-2, removal 1. Obzedat, Ghost Council
4.0: Excellent first pick first pack, will sway me into same colors. Creatures 1-4, removal 1. Rubblehulk
3.5: Excellent first pack pick two, will confirm colors or possibly sway into second color. Ground Assault
3.0: Good in-color addition, or splashable removal/creature. Creatures 3-9, removal 1-3. Kingpin's Pet
2.5: Solid pick in-color; creatures 5-12, removal 3-5. Mugging
2.0: Creatures 10-16; removal 6-7. Act of Treason
1.5: My 23rd or 22nd card, depending on removal. Gutter Skulk
1.0: 23rd card if I don't maindeck an additional land. Mental Vapors
0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. Shattering Blow
0.0: I will shred this card for counters. Frenzied tilling

this + voidwalk tends to make people cry in sealed.

it'll be harder to set up this combo in sealed though since you won't always get keymaster rogue and voidwalk

I'm sure he'll be great in Dimir, probably even an important piece with the mill, but in Orzhov I found him a 2.5.  I had 2 of the Death's approach as my removal, and he turned those on quite often.

The 2 power, 3 toughness seems to be a decent size for the air.  It stops the grizzly bears on the ground, Kingpin's Pet , Basilica Screecher , and Skyknight Legionnaire , all of which are some pretty important cards in their decks.


Also, this is somewhat important: He's a Vampire ROGUE.

My match 3 opponent at my FNM last night had a ciphered up Deathcult Rogue and just attacked right into this thing the turn after I played it.  2/2 vs my 2/3.   :evil grin:
