Seems legit, Moxxy. I also wouldn't be surprised if it was all basic land types (but not necessarily a shockland), and it will likely be legendary since it's at mythic rarity (and not a cycle).
Flavorwise, something to do with the Guildpact and/or the Leylines/Maze.

I'm just glad this means we'll get more cards that interact with gates. I was afraid that the little we got from RTR and Gatecrash would be it since there weren't any guilds left to print gates for.

So ho do these basic-land-replacing Guildgates and Shocklands work in Limited? Can you use them in your deck? Do you still take them out before passing the pack in Draft?

You aren't supposed to take the land out before passing the pack currently, just the token. Some places don't follow that particular rule as written, but that is official drafting procedure.
So yes, you can use them in your deck, but have to pick them like any other card.

This will probably sound like a stupid question, but are legendary lands like legendary creatures? Where as you can only have one of that card in play at a time?

So, on MTGsalvation they seem to be sure that the mythic land in DGM is a wincon when you have 10 gates. Sounds like something wizards would do...
I find that kinda lame, honestly. Imagining opening it in the prerelease...

Players open their first booster pack and count the cards face down, removing token cards, rules cards, and any other non-game cards. Players who receive an erroneous number of cards at any time must immediately notify a judge. After picking up the booster, players should remove and keep any non-foil basic land cards and/or any other cards that are not from the expansion of the opened booster. Foil basic land cards should be left in the booster and drafted with the other cards.

That makes no sense to me.
If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise  in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch  . YAY COLOR IDENTITY

I love this description. Like the cows are sponges filled with milk. I can see it all Nick Parks claymation-style with the cow's eyes bugging out momentarily as a giant farmer squeezes it like a squeaky dog toy, and milk shoots out of it.

He cant have been, as currently there are no guildgates or shocks in the basic land slot.
