Really I could see your pool going any number of directions. This is probably what I would have settled on. I know it's pretty much what you said. I thought for awhile about white/black, maybe splashing blue, honestly I thought of all kinds of color combos. I think you could have pretty much gone with ANY guild with this pool and had a reasonable deck!

Anyway this is approximately what I would have done, give a card here take a card there, it's kind of hard for me to evaluate the curve in a forum like this.

I could see Boros working out well here, though Gruul is probably worth a shot, too.

I second that boros splash gruul is the optimal build.

Your blue is good, but green and black are both rather anemic. I think you went the right way, boros is the only guild where I can count up enough playables.
