Suprised something along these lines doesn't already exist, to be honest.

I always hate how effects like this read. Upon seeing Spreading Seas for the first time for instance, I assumed it just made a land gain a cardtype without losing any. Just something that always bugged me.
That said it's a neat card.

Decent card, but would even be better as a permanent effect. Would be too much like Path to Exile?

Target atacking unopposed creature becomes a forest under defending player's control

as an additional cost put a forest into play
