Trying to make a deck that can control and compete in FNM, but I have never really made a control deck. My most recent decks have been a Golgari Countergain and Selesnya Populate. As such, any and all help is appreciated, whether on the build, or on the general strategies that go with control decks. DECK LIST

The problem with evolve is that as the game progresses, it gets harder and harder to amp up the creatures. Many of your creatures have power or toughness of 1 or less, making it nearly impossible to evolve them more than one. You should consider taking out some creatures like Simic Manipulator , which you only have 1 of anyway, and put a little more focus on running creatures that are big from the start, like Thragtusk .

The problem is I don't particularly have the money to drop on 4x Thragtusk . I wish I did. But I see what you mean with the evolve, it seems to stall out early. Would it be better to maybe throw in some Master Biomancer s and Giant Adephage or Biomass Mutation ?

Updated off of suggestions from a few other people. Still not sure if I have the balance right between the control and the ability to win. Again, tips are appreciated.
