Hi,

I have a 5 color highlander that I play with casually, I have been toying with it for a while, getting cards here and there... ... but I am just curious what you all think about it? Could it be stronger/faster/more effecient? How? Note: If my friends want to play casual Commander, I would use Child of Alara as my Commander. Thanks for your input, it is much appreciated!

You should edit some card liks into your post. Put [ c ] and [ /c ] aroung the card names (no spaces) at it will link to the gatherer pics. Forest


I like the deck a lot for casual. Singularly powerful threats and answers and utility that don't lean on synergy or combos. Hard to play the same game twice.


As for improvements, I think the deck is light on card draw. You have some card advantage in the form of graveyard recursion and the Sphinx's Revelation but I'd like to see one or two pieces of persistant draw power like Phyrexian Arene , Staff of Nin , Greed , Necropotence , etc. to keep up a steady supply of answers and needs-to-be-answered.


Also Primeval Titan recently made the banned list.

ditch the lotus cobra , i don't think is as good in edh as normal 60 card builds....since you can only play one, and the idea is to have 2 or 3 of them out and play a land for 4 mana, etc. play mirari's wake , all suns' dawn
