[i would go -2 Bonds of faith +2 Gift of orzhova
I will definitely take it into account. Gavin Veahy recommended Gift of Orzhova in his article Zero to Sixty: Gatecrashing into Standard, to replace Increasing Savagery (he also recommends using Simic Charm ). The three of us who played Bant aura at the last FNM felt that the lifegain runs a bit counter to the aggro-theme of the deck and that we'd rather put out 1x Ethereal Armor and 1x Spectral Flight given a three-mana opportunity. I will play with the idea, once I get my Gift of Orzhova . One of my co-conspirators did play with 2x or 3x Azorius Charm and really liked the lifegain.
Lands 22 4x Breeding Pool 4x Temple Garden 4x Hallowed Fountain 4x Sunpetal Garden 2x Glacial Fortress 2x Hinterland harbor 2x Forest Creatures 16 4x Geist of Saint Traft 4x Invisible Stalker 4x Avacyn's Pilgrim 4x Silverblade Paladin Enchatments 19 4x Abundant Growth 4x Ethereal Armor 4x Spectral Flight 4x Rancor 3x Gift of Orzhova Instants 3 3x Selensya Charm This is the list im running but im having a hard time deciding what to get rid of for 2 Arbor elf . im thinking -1 Rancor -1 Spectral flight +2 Arbor elf . any ideas on what to cut for them?

Can you clean up your list a bit? Delete the extra spaces and add the [de ck] and [/de ck] tags. This is the list im running but im having a hard time deciding what to get rid of for 2 Arbor elf . im thinking -1 Rancor -1 Spectral flight +2 Arbor elf . any ideas on what to cut for them?
I would not do that. The deck thrives on enchantments to feed Ethereal Armor , and works reasonably well in a very mana lean format. You don't need Arbor Elf .

Incidentally, I think Devour Flesh is going to be a bigger problem for this deck than Glaring Spotlight . I wonder if Spell Rupture is called for, but I'm not sure I'll ever have enough mana to use it.

So this is the list that takes the above changes into account: Bantaurification (Post Gatecrash)
Creature (17) 4 x Avacyn's Pilgrim 4 x Geist of Saint Traft 4 x Invisible Stalker 2 x Fencing Ace 3 x Silverblade Paladin Other (21) 4 x Abundant Growth 1 x Blessings of Nature 2 x Blind Obedience 4 x Ethereal Armor 4 x Rancor 4 x Spectral Flight 2 x Bonds of Faith Land (22) 4 x Breeding Pool 2 x Cavern of Souls 2 x Forest 3 x Glacial Fortress 4 x Hallowed Fountain 1 x Plains 2 x Sunpetal Grove 4 x Temple Garden Sideboard (15) 1 x Blessings of Nature 3 x Detention Sphere 3 x Faith's Shield 3 x Rest in Peace 2 x Selesnya Charm 3 x Sundering Growth Test played against my wife's Rakdos aggro, and went 2-1, winning the last game on the draw thanks to Blind Obedience nullifying Falkenrath Aristocrat . My only creature was an Avacyn's Pilgrim . Fortunately, my wife did not pull her Dreadbore . Ethereal Armor kept it out of direct damage harm.

Those interested in this deck archetype should read Jon Stern's description of the ideas behind the deck and how he played it in GP Atlantic City: Auras in Atlantic CityHe does recommend trying 3x Gift of Orzhova post-Gatecrash. He does not discuss the impact of Glaring Spotlight or Devour Flesh (although he does discuss Tribute to Hunger and that it was not worth sideboarding in Sigarda, Host of Herons ). Also worth reading is the Bant Enchant primer on mtgsalvation.com: forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t...

Deck list has been updated in posting #1 to move more fully to shocklands. This is a real balancing act, because I feel that you don't want to shock yourselves too many times. But for now this uses the full 12x shocklands.
