I think WOtC is wanting to devalue Thragtusk by putting it in another pre-con deck this is the third one to date. I believe that there are other cards that could have been put in that slot.

I haven't had a lot of experience with the new way they've been doing event decks. The last precon I bought was during worldwake. I must say that I really love the newer ones. They've made a point to put good, and playable cards into these decks. They've got 3 or 4 of some of the staple cards in the format (like rancor ). I would have liked to see at least one or two evolve creatures in the "simic" deck, however, I appreciate how they branched out and put some gruul cards in there.
Don't be too smart to have fun

I thought these were supposed to have 8 rares each, or am I thinking of something else...?

Reached DCI Rating 1800 on 28/10/11. :D Sig

That makes no sense to me.
If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch . YAY COLOR IDENTITY
Is algebra really that difficult?
Survey says yes.
You want to make a milky drink. You squeeze a cow.
I love this description. Like the cows are sponges filled with milk. I can see it all Nick Parks claymation-style with the cow's eyes bugging out momentarily as a giant farmer squeezes it like a squeaky dog toy, and milk shoots out of it.

RE: Justice of the Legion via Daily Decks.
I have to assume the single Boros Garrision is never intended to untap, but instead, simply bounces itself every turn to ensure the bare minimum of one landfall trigger.
Hot.

For these being GATECRASH event decks, the simic one has...what, 10 gatecrash cards? 14 if you include the guildgate? LAME.
the boros one looks cool though.

On the "Infinite Humanity" deck (lame name by the way) :
Killing the Field Hunter in response to it targeting the Angel should break the combo, leaving the Angel permanently in exile.
Edit: Ok they can sac the Angel. But still. Breaks the Combo leaving 2 bears and a Huntmaster (at least) for 5WW/ 4B/ 3W.

So Sam Black has stopped writing daily decks because he's preparing for the pro-tour, right?
I really enjoyed his decks and writing.

Okay, here is the clincher. I've been waiting to say this.
The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.
I hope you all feel really smart now.
This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"
I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.
Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.
I wish more girls play magic cards...
Have you considered assassinating Kevin?
