Hmm, this gives me an idea.  Panoptic Mirror for creatures!!  Basically your design, but the exiled creature pings for every creature you cast thereafter.  Probably overpowered though.

Search your library for two creature cards, exile them, then shuffle your library: If you exiled two creature cards this way, Chimeric Krasis becomes a creature with power equal to the first card's power and toughness equal to the second card's toughness and has this ability and trample.

-- per Elusive Krasis , they don't have to be a particular type
-- when a creature, Chimeric Krasis has no creature type -- it is a creature (no longer an enchantment) but has no creature types ((see 10.04.04 ruling on Hidden Spider for becoming a creature and no longer being an enchantment))  ((see Animate Artifact as another example of a non-creature card becoming a creature but having no creature types))

-- the main power of the card, and why i think it should be mythic rare, is from the shinangans available -- not only can you make a big trampling brusier for 4 mana (all dedicated color) at the cost of exiling two cards, but you can activate the ability whenever and as often as you like
-- if he's about to be dealt lethal damage, you can search again and exile another creature with more toughness (and hopefully survive the damage)
-- if it's late game and you want to stop drawing Kraken Hatchling s and Llanowar Elves , you can use him to thin out your deck (but only thin creatures; not basic lands)

------ i aknowledge the level of shenanigans makes this card very useful and very abusable -- utility in many different ways is what the Simic are, they are evolution/adaptation, and abuse and power are what mythic rare spells are

-- i specify "if you exiled two cards this way" because searching doesn't require you to find; you can search your library, but because it's a hidden zone, the game doesn't mind if you say you can't find any creature cards (even if you then immediately activate the ability again and do find creature cards)

Well, you're just making something like a better Soul Foundry at that point.

Similar, but instead of just putting a token into play it would trigger when you cast a creature spell and add +x/+y and abilities.  Example:

Imprint Lightning Serpent
Cast Creature with insane interaction
Creature enters the battlefield w/ +2/+1, Haste and Trample.
Win Game
Break Magic
