Quirion Dryad is an Ok card, but in the short but effective testing i've done, the best fit i've had for delver was URw.
4 Delver 4 Snapcaster 3 Geist of St. Traft
4 Thought Scour 4 Pillar of Flame 3 Searing Spear 4 Izzet Charm 4 Boros Charm 4 Azorius Charm 3 Feeling of Dread 3 Rapid Hybridization
4 Steam Vents 4 Sulfur Falls 4 Hallowed Fountain 4 Glacial Fortress 1 Clifftop Retreat 3 Island
-----------
2 Dispel 2 Negate 2 Counterflux 1 Mizzium Skin 1 Purify the Grave 3 Electrickery 3 Skullcrack 1 Unsummon
Just my two cents, but it's been really flexible and really powerful. I feel like I can compete with any matchup and have the proper sideboard tools to fight through swiss rounds. We will see as it goes, but so far its the first playable standard deck for me in a while.

While my card choices are different, I agree completely that American Delver is the most likely chance of the bug man being playable again. Perhaps Esper Delver, as well, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

When you say short but effective what do you mean? How many delver variants have you played ? How many games per variant? What decks did you pit against each of these variants? Have you considered cutting green does take away the best answer Selesnya Charm to what may be one of the premier threats of the new standard metagame Obzedat, Ghost Council . I only ask all these questions because I like the position of delver decks especially early in the format and I want to figure out which was is best.
P.S. Have you tested with spell rupture if you flip your delver like you want to it is a functional mana leak and we all remember how good that was with delver.

Personally I really like the deck and think white is a worthwhile addition. That said I agree spell rupture looks terrible and I'd rather Syncopate and Essence Scatter. White also gives Feeling of Dread to replace the original decks downpour.
