Verdant Haven Enchantment - Aura (Common) Enchant land When Verdant Haven enters the battlefield, you gain 2 life. Whenever enchanted land is tapped for mana, its controller adds one mana of any color to his or her mana pool (in addition to the mana the land produces). Nothing worth complaining nor celebrating imho.

It definitely feels like this could see some play in base green Limited decks.

This...could potentially see constructed play
Cats land on their feet. Toast lands peanut butter side down. A cat with toast strapped to its back will hover above the ground in a state of quantum indecision.

seems like bad farseek at first, but if you have a way to untap a land anyway it starts being interesting.

3 Mana toll means it shouldn't be used as a land replacement
TLDR

Would prefer Fertile Ground . Might see some EDH play in decks that use Earthcraft , but not much.
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

So you get double the mana for one land, with the additional mana being in the color of your choice? Sounds good to me.
You do also get 2 life but no one cares about that.

Well, it's a card that works very well in limited with gate-elf (greenside watcher: 1G 2/1 that can tap to untap a gate). Play gate turn 1, gate-elf turn 2, this turn 3 and untap to play a 2-drop. On turn 4, play a land and cast almost any spell in GTC (you'll have 7 mana, 2 of which is any-colored). I draft often enough online that eventually I'll get the "nut" version of this deck with:
3+ copies each of Gate-Elf and Verdant Haven (very doable since they're both common and not high picks) 5+ gates A primordial in every color (I see these going semi-late in 8-4's online, people don't rare draft and 7-drops are generally bad)
... that consistently plops out a primordial on turn 4. I forsee this being the axebane guardian deck of triple GTC, undervalued and easily assembled at first, then turns into a fad where everyone is drafting 5c Verdant Haven.dek, then basically everyone abandons it once the format evolves and the 2-color decks get faster and more efficient, thus running over any attempts at 5-color durdles.

Arbor Elf loves this.
"I have existed from the morning of the world and I shall exist until the last star falls from the night. Although I have taken the form of Gaius Caligula, I am all men as I am no man and therefore I am a God."
