I just don't like the name. Mugging implies you are taking something from them. This card's effect seems less like a mugging and more like mobsters broke the monster's kneecaps...
A possibility for Standard play circa October and the rotation of Pillar of Flame . That assumes there aren't better cards between M14 and the next block, of course.
Obviously good for Limited. I think Boros will like it, as I'm seeing that strategy building around being able to get multiple swings with your Battalion creatures. Stop your opponent's one blocker, swing in with enough that your next turn's swing will either be lethal or strong enough that it doesn't matter that you're losing Battalion.
