Bioshift         U/G
Instant
Move any number of +1/+1 counters from target creature onto another target creature with the same controller.

"It's all right if you change your mind.  There's always a chance we can rearrange parts later."  -Zija, Simic Mutationist

Good, flexible card with Evolve.

Before the spoils, i was hoping simic would get this effect, but as a static ability in and enchantment or creature.
Flag Steinhauser January 21, 2013 5:23 AM PST
I guess this can do some cool things with some of the rarer Simic cards that play with counters, but is it worth a slot in any old Simic deck?

Might be playable in dedicate evolve decks.

How so?

Without some way to get advanatage from your +1/+1 counters (like all the rares with evolve have), you're just making things bigger and smaller with this spell. Even as a trick, it doesn't seem worth spending a card to add 0 net power to the board.

Flag Glare_of_the_Loxodon January 21, 2013 6:49 AM PST
Hah, this is really really Simic. XD

Well... yeah.  It can be used as a trick, and then the creature that got smaller can evolve again.  Or they use removal, and you save their "evolution counters" and give them to someone else to turn THEM into a threat as well.

It just seems to have a lot of utility.   I can tell you, on prerelease, if I am staring down a Simic board attacking me, I am going to be very afraid of this card.  My blocks can go very wrong.  (Which is why I will be playing Gruul at the first prerelease I go to, so I don't have to worry about such silly things like blocking.)

Flag Long_Con January 21, 2013 7:56 AM PST
This card should always act as removal, or to counter removal, to be used properly.
Flag Kazepenku January 21, 2013 7:58 AM PST
finished drawing 7 cards with zegana? Why not move all of them onto the manadork and cast your worldspine wurm?

Perhaps use Gyre Sage as your mana dork of choice.

A combat trick and evolve enabler?
Nice.
Flag CommanderGreven January 21, 2013 10:14 AM PST
This could cause some headaches in limited.
Flag Rokukel January 21, 2013 11:51 AM PST
I really like it. A very useful card.

To quote my friend

"they ahve 1 blocker
I have 2 attackers.
I have 1 card in hand.
I stare him in the face
He knows."

This card is absolutely beautiful in a dedicated evolve deck.
I can't wait to play around with Simic, especially with this little gem in their arsenal.
Flag Matt_Holck January 21, 2013 12:26 PM PST
It's a card loss, I'd rather cast an instant the gives me more +1/+1 counters

The entire Simic guild is just kind of madly in love with that guy . Too bad he's only black just because of Golgari.
