(constructed) the mythics are bad (aurelia's fury is playable, but people are paying bonfire money for it and its a lot closer to izzet charm than bonfire). boros is good. gruul is good. i don't care about gruul or boros. simic is probably what people who like simic were hoping for. orzhov is...like, if you took exactly what orzhov should have been, and then threw out 2 or 3 of the most exciting cards. i mean, that's probably playable, and maybe that's kinda interesting...but oomph? no. no oomph.
there's lots of good flavor text. and lots of sex kitten art.

boros and gruul seem to be the only cards that aren't overcosted...because they have another drawback (2 other creatures attacking and discarding).
orzhov seems like a guild that could play very well with players that know what they're doing. i also believe orzhov is one of the few guilds that doesn't need splashing of any other colors. it has much better removal than dimir, a great bleeding effect, and a good range of useful creatures, and its mechanic is available at all rarities and CMCs
dimir just seems like it can't do anything early game. maybe get out a creature or 2, but its only time to really shine is if you can actually hit your opponent and if you have enough encoded spells to maintain control
simic...seems to slow. i mean overcosted 1/1s with evolve are not what you need early game. blue green is also pretty horrible with removal and lifegain...its only hope being counterspells which mean you cant play creatures to help you evolve...simic definitely needs another cor splashed in
