I would splash white for Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and if not, this deck wants Liliana of the Veil. You could probably cut 2 lands for the Liliana's. I don't like the mono-red vampire in a Nocturnus deck as that hadds to the number of cards that doesn't make Nocturnus--and the rest of your vampires--awesome. I would take out the Stromkirk Noble for Duress.

4 Dreadbore 4 Murder Ultimate Price 4 Duress 4 Tragic Slip 4 Sign in Blood 1 Rakdos's Return 1 Underworld Connections
2 Liliana of the Veil
4 Blood Crypt 2 Cavern of Souls 4 Dragonskull Summit 4 Mountain 10 8 Swamp
Do note that with Stromkirk Captain your Vamps will have first strike. After first strike damage resolves with Vampire Nighthawk(deathtouch) you can Tragic Slip before normal damage resolves.
Nighthawk will give you back the life you lose with Sign in Blood and this has now become more of a midrange deck. You'll use your spells to keep the board clean until your deck takes off on turn three. I'm a bigger fan of Bloodline Keeper than Vampire Nocturnus but to each their own.

Liliana of the Veil hands down, though splashing white for Sorin, Lord of Innistrad wouldn't be terrible either. Liliana of the Dark Realms --I will say the artwork is awsome though--is a terrible card outside of MBC which is deader than dead, and maybe black burn which is also dead.

how would you splash in white for Sorin? Also with using Nocturnus wouldn't Liliana of the Dark realms allow me the chance to change my top card if its not black? I like the 3 cmc for liliana of the veil and her cool ult but why would you say her hands down in my vamp deck? Thanks a lot for responding by the way!

i mostly agree with naughtyword except: 1. veils lili is not a must in the deck. give dark realms a try, she is nice with the nocturnus 2. ther is NO CAST PHASE between first strike and normal damage

Actually, players do get priority after the first strike damage step. You can ask the Rules Forum people if you want to see the whole technical details of it. Before normal combat damage is assigned, you can cast spells after first strikers have done their damage. This won't cause blocked creatures to suddenly be unblocked, but it can let you save creatures via Morbid Tragic Slips that you would otherwise have lost in combat.
Liliana of the Veil is a more Aggro/Mid Range focused card. Dark Realms, is more on Control, able to tutor up answers and mana ramp. 3 mana to then force a creature sac, then next turn making them discard so the following turn you can pop her to make them sac anotehr creature is wonderful CA. If they swing at her in the time between, she just saved you from some damage rather than netting more CA, which puts you ahead a little in tempo. Gaining Tempo or CA on someone is a good way to start pulling ahead.

I personally would splash white with 1 plains and 2-3 evolving wilds rather than go dual land and here's why:
Evolving Wilds rocks in this deck for two reasons: The first is obvious, land fixing, which shouldn't be much of an issue but a little insurance never hurt anyone, the second being if a non-black card does show up, and you don't have a Sign in Blood in hand, you can sac it for a shuffle. Options never hurt anyone.
The Lilianna of the Veils is HUGE card advantage, great board control, and between Duress and her you are really going to limit what your opponent can do. Control decks in general are not going to be happy to see Liliana AND Duress. Also those two cards disrupt so many decks it's REDONKULOUS. It craps on Detention Sphere, Oblivion Ring, Slaughter Games, Rancor, any sort of counter play, etc. Taking answers away from your opponent always works out in your favor. G/R/W aggro depends on Rancor, if you turn 1 Duress and take away Rancor, that hurts big time. Not only does Duress and Liliana get rid of answers it also lets you keep tabs on your opponents hand so there are no surprises.
Sideboard Cremate to really force U/W/X contol's hand.

Thank you everyone for giving me all this input. I like how you splash in the white and while I do like the LotDR for my nocturnus combo LotV is seems to just help me out overall more than Sorin or LotDR. Looks like my wallet is about to get ransacked ! Thanks again for all the replies.

I REALLY wish they had reprinted Bloodghast , he would instantly made these Vamp tribals tier 2 if not teir 1 singlehandedly.
