I was playing with a friend with my clerics deck against his deck with Form of the Dragon  . At one point in the game I had a True Believer  equiped with Lightning Greaves  and nothing more on the board besides his Form of the Dragon and lands. In his turn he has to choose a target for Form of the Dragon ? meaning, he has to kill himself? Thank you!

Seems that way to me. The damage is not optional and he would be the only legal target in that scenario.

Okay! Here's your agreement. The triggered ability on Form of the Dragon that goes off at the beginning of your upkeep is mandatory. So, if all other creatures and players are illegal targets (as is the case here), then the controller of the Form will be forced to target themselves with the ability.

How did he choose that number 3? Why not 4? Or 30? Or 64.5?
