Why the Dark Rituals? You have no three drops that are insane when powered out on turn one, no heavy curve to make up for, and little chance to play two rats off of it T1 since you only have four one-drops. If your 5-drops are the sole concern, you might as well play two more lands and open up two slots .

Basically because the marrow and the ogre are killer if dropped early, and I can't think of anything else I'd want add in my price range that would be better then that(options I like being $5+).

Card draw helps Rack Rat to be killer. I'd add a few Phyrexian Arena , maybe a couple tutors to find what you want. This would work well with Bone-Reader, as otherwise Bone-reader is massive card-disadvantage together with Pack Rat.

Hey Draco its nice to see the deck build. The only suggestion that I am going to make is to sub out Nezumi Bone-Reader for a rat that will be a better fit in the deck. Other than that I would do some playtesting with the deck before you make any changes, but good luck with the deck.

I can see the other cards, but why Dash Hopes of all things? That card is awful. I've only ever let a Dash Hopes counter a spell once, because I was at 4 life. Maybe it works in your play group, but I always pay the 5 life unless I can't. anyways since everyone's suggesting removing Bone Readers, I'll again suggest you replace him with Nezumi Shortfang who is slower and costs 1 more to activate, but doesn't need to eat a creature to do his thing. Also the flipped version of him is The Rack which is pretty nice, especially if you're actually running The Rack I like Bone Reader and Shortfang in the same deck, though, because bone readers can eat unflipped shortfangs if you've already flipped a shortfang in order to avoid a "legend bomb"

Its true most people will just pay the life to counter Dash hopes, but in that case its still 5 damage for 2 mana. I tend to slug it out in games(life total-wise) so an extra five damage helps. I also usually run them in decks like my zombie one with Shepherd of Rot & Gempalm Polluter . in anycase its a moot point as they're not in this deck. I think I may swap in the shortfangs, I had the bone-Readers in here because I already had them and he gives you another use for the rat tokens besides slamming them into the opponent or chump blocking, plus he turns on the slips if you need it.
