Bottomfeeder-
Creature-Horror Fish
Whenever a creature with less power than Bottomfeeder dies, put a +1/+1 counter on Bottomfeeder.
Hook a big one, and you're food for weeks.
1/1

and here's my ramble on numbers:

okay now to write flavor text. first let's talk numbers to get my brain off it. so he's a 1/1 for 3. not a great starting body. and he needs a creature with 0 power to die to get the ball rolling. if only black had a way to kill creatures while reducing their power man you know what this link is already . I purposefully made him take a little work to get rolling because once he does he can get insane quickly. he's vulnerable at first so I think he's okay, powerwise, but if you sling a few -X/-Xs you can come out fast with a huge creature that can steamroll anything that gets in its way and grow from it. but I think it's balanced a) by its early vulnerability (what can't kill a 1/1 for 3?) and b) by the difficulty in getting the engine started. definitely a potential rare though, due to its swingy nature.

also FYI I know that flavor text is awful but my brain was all "hey let's not think of anything good" and I eventually just tossed it down to have something. any suggestions for ones that don't suck would be nice.

I actually think this could be cheaper.

Compare with Nivmagus Elemental . The way this grows has an advantage in that it also kills a blocker, but Nivmagus grows twice as fast. And has 1 extra toughness. And doesn't require your opponent to have creatures.

I really like the name/mechanics btw

Okay, here is the clincher. I've been waiting to say this.

The "cam girl" this was inspired by was just a girl from a social networking website, Stickam. Her name was TinyTerror and she was just a regular girl who was on her webcam, totally unrelated to any type of adult content.

I hope you all feel really smart now.

This is like someone coming into class with a bloody nose and everyone's like "Jeez what happened to you" and they're like "I ran into a wall" and everyone laughs at them for being an idiot but then at the end of the class they say "HAHA JUST KIDDING I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!! TALK ABOUT OWNED HAHAHAHAHA"

I really enjoy imagining this from Kevin's perspective. Because in Kevin's world, Rosewater actually reads everything he types. Mark is sitting there right now, reading this, and thinking "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled. . ." Or some such. He chuckles low, then clicks on "The Best Of KEVINSET" and says "Yes, this'll do just fine. A busty lady with banding who deals direct damage to Zones!? Why this will be the star of my next set, and no one will ever believe you Kevin." Then he closes his Macbook, so his servant may move it out of the way, while another servant puts a Fetal Richard Garfield Clone lathered in Steak Sauce in front of him. Then Mark Feasts.

Sorin walked into the chamber where his newly wed bride, Vampy, awaited. A beam of moonlight illuminated his brilliant silver hair as he strode with confidence towards the bed. His shirtless body showcased his powerful abdominal muscles and he was wearing jeans with holes in the knees.

Elemental is also card disadvantage though.

but yeah I could see this costing less. maybe even , if we're gonna pretend to take Rush seriously.

So many creature grows on die trigger.... let's see

When any death counts ( with perks ), they cost 4.

When only specific death counts, they cost 2.

So I guess yours can safely cost . To be honest though, none of the cards mentioned above are that playable. And all of them can trigger withOUT help (let alone specific help ; you can hardly find 0-power creatures natrually in real games anyway, less affinity decks)

So I am not very sure that your card would be playable at even

Rockslide Elemental is the most obvious comparison to me, and this one is worse in three ways, only made up for by being black. It could quite easily cost 1B. Mortician Beetle can also be used as a comparison.

I would probably play it with Pump rather than with -N/-N spells. But maybe that's because I'm a bad player. >.<

And I think it would be fine at 1B.

yeah I was probably overly cautious on costing this one. it'd be more flavorful if it cost anyway.
