I like the flavor text. "Amid rumors of war, the third act The Absolution Of The Guildpact was rewritten as a tragedy." Well, that and the guildgate message pretty much point to Dragon's Maze as a guildwar set... now to think of who will be allies, or if it will be a big FFA.
Plus what is 16 post, may i ask? It's been mentioned a few times so far :s EDIT: is it cloudpost and copy land abilities?
Glimmerpost and Cloudpost are the aforementioned "post". Running a full set of each is called 8post.
Since this lands keeps new stats permanently AND the copy ability, can i just keep copying my Cathedral of War to further stack exalted triggers?
The Stage only copies one land at a time and thus only one land's worth of abilities. It keeps the copy ability.
If I'm right, he's not considering the fact that the Stage taps to copy. If you had a way of infinitely untapping the Stage and repeatedly copying Cathedral of War in response to the end of your attack declaration step (or whenever the appropriate time is), I think that might actually work.
Yeah so I'll have 2 exalted lands the first time i copy cathedral, but say i copy cathedral again next turn or with Seedborn Muse tricks; do i get another exalted instance on stage, etc.
no, when the Stage copies Cathedral of War it is as if you had 2 Cathedral of War one of those cathedral can copy another land, but even if it copies the Cathedral again it is still just a Cathedral with 1 instance of exalted
Figured as much . It would have been crazy good it could accumulate exalted triggers like a storage land of sorts. So much for that Rafiq pipe dream haha.
and it's permanent... whaaaaaaaat are there any situations where this is better than vesuva ?
Yes: it enters the battlefield untapped and can immediately tap for .
Also: if you're just using Vesuva to kill your opponent's legendary land, this can serve as a land for you for several turns before doing a wasteland impression later in the game.
Cats land on their feet. Toast lands peanut butter side down. A cat with toast strapped to its back will hover above the ground in a state of quantum indecision.
