I tried electrickery weeks ago and they were kinda pointless, I never boarded them in after not drawing them when I needed them and being really disappointed when topdecking/feeding them to Ti. The meta's shifted since then and I don't know you're meta though--I thought they might be good against Humans. My Naya Midrange and my Jund Aggro have been hosing this deck lately though, so I'm up for any tinkering tips and keeping this thread alive as long as we can make ol' Ti playable.
Limited Guidelines:

5.0: I will take this card no matter what: Pack Rat
4.5: Bomb and/or splashable creature or removal: Aetherling
4.0: Excellent first pick first pack, will sway me into same colors: Advent of the Wurm
3.5: Excellent first pack pick two, will confirm colors or possibly sway into second color. Gaze of Granite
3.0: Good in-color addition, or splashable removal/creature: Ascended Lawmage
2.5: Solid pick in-color: Bronzebeak Moa
2.0: Creatures 10-16; removal 6-7. Haazda Snare Squad
1.5: My 23rd or 22nd card, depending on removal. Wake the Reflections )
1.0: 23rd card if I don't maindeck an additional land: Murmuring Phantasm
0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in: Uncovered Clues
0.0: I will shred this card for counters: Possibility Storm

I could be over reacting, but at least 4 regulars at the win-a-case tourament I was at were on the DeTorra wagon (I had forgotten the name of the player and was too lazy to look it up).  It's a list I'm going to have to deal with for a while at least.

Madcapping a Reckoner is a thought but whose going to be stupid enough to run into a potential 6/3 Firststriker?

I might just run some Ghost Quarter over a few Mountains (like 3).  Seems good to disrupt some manabases at least, though I doubt I'll get lucky and see it be a Strip Mine.  It'd also let me not have to worry about Wolf Run.

Those guys would probably have been on the Esper wagon if he had gotten luckier. If you need to, sideboard Ghost Quarter and get 'em. But that also makes it harder to cast Reckoner.

I'm going to give it a shot with -2 Wrath +2 Hellrider and I'll let you know how it fares. I brought up the low lands issue to a fellow who also suggested Hellrider and he didn't think it would be a problem.

Nope. Hellrider isn't worth it on this land count, and 2 Wraths is too few; I want 3. More Reckoners is the way to go.

Also, I have no idea what I can do against Azorius Charm, if anything. That matchup was horrible tonight against RWU control. Charm, burn, Augur, Restoration Angel, Sphinx's. Ugh.

So would the current list benefit from dumping the Ash Zealot s and Boros Reckoner s and adding Burning-Tree Emissary and Lightning Mauler to accelerate and hasten things up?

I watched a guy with a similar build run BTE and the Mauler in his version... he had nutty draws and played some really aggressive T2s and T3s... but it didn't change the overall perfomance of his RDWs. (He didn't have Tibalt and was running 22 lands as well.) Basically, he won when he went first, lost when he went second. The zealot and reckoner have, for me at least, let me win no matter when I went.

It's not like Naya Humans's Champion-->BTE+Mauler T2, and in RDW only seemed great when he had legion loyalist. The thing is, he was also running reckoners, so I don't know if he had the full suite of removal.

I guess that's just a blathering way to say I've seen it done and wasn't impressed.

I'm splashing black to give Dreadbore a shot (2x main 1x side).
If it doesn't match any better against midrangey decks then I'm going back to Junk until I can afford Stomping Grounds.

I see a lot of people running Forge Devil in the SB. I can only assume this is for dealing with Naya Humans ( since killing off their Champion/Experiment before they can grow it seriously hampers that deck).

I see people mentioning Electrickery as well.

Seems people have forgotten all about Geistflame . It seems like it is better at getting the job done than Forge Devil in almost every way. Geistflame gets rid of those annoying T1 plays just as easily, can be flashed back later to get rid of a second Champion/Experiment, and can even be aimed at your opponents face if all you need is just a little extra reach. You also dont take the 1 damage that you would from Forge Devil , which can be relevant.

The only downside is that you lose out on the 1/1 creature, but in most cases that is just going to be chump fodder anyways.

While it's chump fodder, it's still a 2 for 1 in a way.

First, you kill a mana dork/weenie. Second you get a small chunk of damage in with him as well. So not all the time is he going to become a chumper.

Decks I play:

Modern:
R/G Tron

EDH:
Gisela Midrange
Wrexial Control
Kresh, the dragonlord!

Standard:
WRB Midrange
The Aristocrats
Casual Omnidoor
