Sure, the oozes are an immediate problem but they still needed to get out of this place.

The oozes, hm? A troubling proposition but one not entirely difficult to deal with. The gelatinous bodies were, in the end, just a slightly more solid liquid. And what was he if not experienced in liquids? But the other issue was the statues. Though, based on the pattern of absorbtion..

"I'll try my hand at the green statue, I suppose" he muttered.

Sunshock

Instant

Deal 2 damage to target attacking or blocking creature

Replenish -- If you gained life this turn, deal 3 damage to target attacking or blocking creature instead.

Sending it at an ooze.

OOC - This one was just mean...
[ConfusedAsUsual] prepares to smite an ooze with a righteous justice, but intead sends a massive electrical bolt at it. It does the job well, regardless.

Electroshock --
Instant (X)

Electroshock deals 2 damage to target attacking or blocking creature.
If any player gained life this turn, Electroshock deals 3 damage to target player instead.

[Mown] quietly steps forward and points at the emerald statue. A flowing wind follows his finger, blowing magic in the breeze, and ignites the emerald elf.

[eddned] quickly claps his hands and pseudo-chops in the direction of the pearl statue; then he brings his hands in an arc around the room. A brilliant white light permeates from his designated path starting from the statue and covering those around him. The pearl statue begins to glow with a brightness beyond imagining, it almost hurts to look at it.

[FiveMinuteCatNap] taps into his sapping magic and casts a spell at the emerald elf. He feels a strange sensation as he directs the spell a sensation of purity and light. It was wierd for him to feel this way.

Target creature gets +1/+1, you gain 1 lie.

The elf statue remains unchanged, glowing beautifully amidst the darkness of the zombie statue, and the brilliance of the cat statue.

"Hmm, it seems that the statues react to their opposite element," Kal Bed thinks quietly to himself, while approaching the Sapphire Merfolk statue. He observes it for a few seconds, content with the others fighting off the oozes. "Maybe this will do the trick," he says, as he touches the tip of his cudgel to the merfolk statue. The blade slowly starts heating, hissing and steaming, until it is red hot and catches fire. Kal Bed concentrates and lets the flame envelop the sapphire merfolk statue.

Then, he turns to defend himself against the coming ooze onslaught.

Elementary puzzle. This should be over in a second.

I aim the following spell at the Ruby Goblin statue.

Induce Sorrow

Instant
Target creature gets -5/-0 and loses all keyword abilities until end of turn.
"The entirety of your lifetime is but a mere speck of discolouration on the grand mural of time."

In hindsight I realise that I don't have access to the mana necessary for solving the final puzzle. I stand back, waiting for someone else to do so.
I have a sig because it gives my posts better spacing.

"The goblin will only calm from the compassion of an angel. The merfolk will not know reason until it has known rage. In two days, friends become enemies. In three days, they become family once more."

His head shifts in the direction of Chintastica and gives a stern gaze for a few moments, clearly displeased about what he's about to do. However, he has no hopes that it will be in time, so he quickly turns away to look for something in his pocket. Clearly fascinated by this room, he intends to see what he can do with it. He pulls out a stone pendant. When his fists encloses it, a green light radiates from the cracks of his fingers. A somewhat disturbing glee is barely noticable on his face.

I enchant an item, and equip it.

OOC: It's seriously hard to make the conversion of mana to life and the opposite equally balanced.
