Yeah, I wasn't sure about powerlevel either, but I have no mana and love cantrips, so I made it a sorcery and had done with it.
OOC- My sword isn't listed in my inventory. Also should the aura I put on Eddned's golem by listed somewhere?
Hmmm I'm a goblin so that means that I'm probably going to have to do something stupid when faced with an immediate threat looking thing. As an Izzet I am doubly obliged. Or maybe I just need to run. That's always a good gobliny reaction.
fix'd.
My apologies. And yes. I listed the enchantment under your inverntory given it is your enchanement.
OOC - Well, I made a sword around the first puzzle room too.
Alright... as usual this will be delayed to sunday at some point.
I will be busy until about 20 to 24 hours. I apologize again, but it is my weekend to work and my sleep schedule has not been cooperating.
"Dragon's gone, may be back. I say don't give it the chance to come around again. Run for it! Get to the end of the tunnel!"
Run for it! ![]() Instant Until end of turn, creatures you control gain haste. "Run for it!" - Hobwor Zatch What do we need? Marching tunes! "Can't outhink a dragon, can't outfight a dragon, better outrun the dragon!" Wait, but don't dragons fly? Why would you outrun them? Also I guess we're running towards where it was. "Don't worry guys it's not there anymore". I start running to the end of the tunnel. The end here meaning the bit we were heading towards earlier.
Story:
Show
With the dragon gone, and everyone on edge, the goblin sends everyone over the edge. Afraid to stick around, you all follow [TPmanW] as he hurries you along with some quickening Magic. You run until your lungs can't support your journey any further. Everyone slows, gasping for breath, but [TPmanW] runs madly ahead, but stops suddenly, a short distance off. He turns back, and beckons everyone down to him, before he continues forwards. You normally wouldn't follow him, but it's what he said, that intrigues you. "The end of the tunnel!" You walk slowly towards him, while catching your breath. Sure enough, you see a wall infront of you, with a tunnel leading straight up (from your current perspective.) Judging from your memory, you figure that the gravity will right itself and you can walk as normal once again. You right yourselves in this new and spacious cavern, when you come across a large metallic figure. "What are you doing here? How did you get here? You shouldn't be here." "Who are you? We don't know how we got here." [SilentTwin] asks. "That is not important now, you must leave. I can send..." Suddenly, a dark laughter is heard echoing through the cavern. "Now, now Karn. Are you so quickly sending away my guests? That's very rude, in fact I invited them. Every... single... one of them." "Leave! Now!" "I forbid it! I wish I could send you away Karn, but unfortunately I have need of you as well. You may try to stop me if you wish. Now, my friends. I hope your journey was well." "Their lives are of no concern to you Bolas. Why have you brought them here?" A large and demonic dragon slowly wisps into view clinging to a large stalactite hanging over a chasm. "Their lives are of utmost concern to my plan! Imbicile! You must learn to listen before you learn to speak! Or did Urza wipe that from your memory as well?" "Urza worried about me, much more than I can say about you and anyone?" "Power would be difficult to grasp to a being like you. Friends make you powerful, but I am powerful enough already." "You brought us here? We had lives of our own and you manipulated us to your own sadistic needs! Bring us BACK!" [Chintastica] yells charging at Bolas. "Silence mortal," Bolas flings a large claw out and swats [Chintastica] away. He lands far away from the rest of the group, across some chasm; he isn't moving. "You could learn a lesson in silence as well!" Quickly [vlord] and [magicpablo666] rush together attempting to run to [Chintastica], but Bolas quickly sweeps them away. They hit the walls of the cavern hard enough to crack the rocks. [ConfusedAsUsual], full of sorrow, rage, and vengeance runs out and begins again weilding a powerful spell of destruction, that is again cut short by Bolas. This time however, he simply waves his hand obviously casting a spell of his own. The spell [ConfusedAsUsual] was charging slowly flows back into his body through his finger tips. He begins to writhe in agony as his own spell was turned against him. Whatever it was, it was quick and he fell onto the floor some feet between Bolas and the group. [SilentTwin] moves to help, but Karn holds him back. "All of you, stop. Enough of this, Bolas! What have you done here?" "Have you heard the tales Karn. Of these beings, the eldrazi? It's a rather sad tale if you ask me. Formless, power-hungry entities feeding off the weaker essences plane to plane through the Blind Eternities? Sound familiar?" "The eldrazi were beaten, as were you. I don't see why they are relevant." "They are entirely relevant! Imagine the chaos they could cause with a master such as me? They would be unstoppable!" "That won't happen! They have been released once and will repel your every attack." Suddenly, another draconic figure appears. The silver ethereal one. "False! The eldrazi are easily defeated." "Ugin, what has Bolas done to you?" "Nothing. He has given me another chance at life, for a small price." "What price did you have to pay?" "That is not for you to know, but I have recaptured the eldrazi and have imprisoned them once again." "Just waiting for Bolas to release them! What are you doing?" Ugin paused for a moment, before swinging his tail at Karn. Karn held up his arm and repelled the attack with a small shielding magic. "You do not understand the power of these eldrazi. They are still beings of conceivable power. We, as planeswalkers, have power over them that they can't comprehend." "You too have comprehensible power Karn, and are weak much like the eldrazi. I, myself, have my eyes set on the horizon. A storm is coming, one the multiverse cannot prevent, one the multiverse cannot withstand! Not without me." "Together, Bolas and I are trying to allow the multiverse to grow, to strengthen, and to adapt. That is the only chance it has to survive." "Lies. You trust him, Ugin? He creates the problems of the multiverse. I'm sure he even spawned the eldrazi many millenia ago." "Don't be foolish Karn, by the way my guests, how has Rauv been treating you all? Well, I hope?" "Rauv?" you all mutter. "Yes. Your dear friend. The same one. The one you all have. I'm sure you've at least talked about him. The same person, for different people, at different times. Have none of you grasped the concept of this all," Bolas magically pulled Rauv hovering over to his side. "Are you messing with time Bolas?" Karn interjected. "No, merely setting my plans into motion. Tell me what you know about zomibes." "Zomibes? You created them, I know that much. For what purpose I do not know." Bolas laughed. "Why, for this reason! Zomibes are exact copies of the host, and are indefinately similar. Perfect for experimentation. I found an old friend of yours Karn, Squee was it? "No!" "Yes, actually. He proved rather difficult to study, but his zomibes didn't. Over time, and many failures, I was able to replicate his eternity and I bestowed this gift upon that whom you all know as Rauv. And that is how I reached out to separate timelines. I sent Rauv to each of my guests, in their own due time. We set up the same scenario for each one, and slowly pulled them into the now. Now that the prison is once again complete." "The prison?" "The Eye of Ugin." "Why are you trying to help the multiverse?" "I have not yet found power to traverse to another multiverse. Until that time, I am equally unsafe. Will you not help us imprison these monstosities?" "I cannot believe you. I will not assist you in your task." "Then believe this!" Bolas, threw a sack at Karn's feet. He opened it and looked inside. He stepped back and dropped the sack. "What is this?" "That is what is responsible for this," Bolas revealed a previously hidden stump for an arm that was horribly discolored, "That tiny specimen nearly killed me. Took off my arm in a matter of seconds. Needless to say it was almost indestructible. So much so, that I was too much in fear of my life, to record exactly what I did that eventually destroyed it. Although, I'm more worried about this incurable rot that has overtaken my wound." "And, how did you come across it?" "How did we first come across the eldrazi? We scouted them, this one was a scout. Will you help us?" Ugin stated. "I... I will. Unfortunately, I must." "Do you know what it is?" "No." "Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure." "Splendid! I have tasked Ugin with hunting the eldrazi. I was slowly crafting the next prison. Ugin would only help me if I would construct it to his standards." "Why do you need my help?" "We required three planeswalkers in the past, I see no reason to change it now." Ugin replied. "But it was broken before." "I was concerned about that as well, but Ugin seems convinced it will stay." "The eldrazi are trapped within, the important ones at least. The others will die over time. Zendikar will be able to be born again. I will seal the prison now." "I suppose I should move away then. Don't worry Karn, I need you for now," he mumbled lazily as Karn readied himself. Ugin opened his mouth, and let loose a silent roar. But the effects were clear. The stones infront of him began to blacken as if they were coal. And hovering in the middle of the room, previously invisible, but burned into existance, was a large orange gem. "We must all seal the prison now. Karn, if you'll please join us." Karn slowly walked over to the floating gem and placed his hand on it, as did Bolas and Ugin. It pulsed slightly, and slowly changed to a greenish hue. "It is done." Ugin said before disappearing. Bolas turned to Karn. "I do have a reason for inviting my guests, I know you are wondering." "Indeed. Why tempt time again? You remember Dominaria." "OF COURSE I REMEMBER! One of them has been working for me this entire time. I needed a way to work around Ugin's prison of course, but if I sent for my messenger, it would have been too obvious. Instead, I sent my immortal Rauv to everyone of different origins to better hide my plan. So, which of you was it? Would you like to know?" You all turn amongst yourselves casting accusing glares among everyone. Bolas chuckled to himself. "Pitiful." Round Stipulation: Show You all have C C C if you choose. Feel free to speculate, or comment, or accuse. I will continue this in 24 hours. NOTE: magicpablo666, vlord, Chintastica, and ConfusedAsUsual are unable to participate this round.
Might as well sacrifice that enchantment on Rauv now.
Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm.. Mafia again. Also, Zomibes, heh.
hmmm went Karpos. "I wonder, oh How I wonder... three planeswalkers, zombies, and a secret agent of a planes walker." "this sounds like that start of a very bad joke".
"hmmm yes, I wonder" Karpos says with a slightly michievous grin. "It would seem that you all have a plan far 'beyond' the grasp of us mere simpletons" Karpos says gesturing to the planes walkers. "But may I ask... were you prepared..." Karpos rips out his locket using the mana he had stored previously and slams his staff to the ground while annoucing "FOR THIS!" as he unleashes his spell. The dragons here suck. "Zendikar was pretty cool with the dragons up until right now", but this is just like back home. I don't miss that about home. I prefer my dragons supid.
"Miz's flames! What part of that did I say out loud?" Think back... drawing a blank. Auugh! If I said some of those things I thought... "It wasn't the stupid bit was it?" I let loose a long string of curses. "Chem burns! Acid bath! Weird's Touch! Nyaaagaaaagh!!" Okay, think fast. I prostrate myself before the dragons. "My apologies your eminences, please pay no head to the inane prattlings of my inferior mind. Err, please, merely disregard my intrusion, I would not want to waste any more of your infinitely valuable time". That one always works right? Nobody hardly ever gets immolated when they apologize right away right?
"Hmm, intriguing," Kal Bed thinks to himself while observing the entities argue and the rest of the party in shambles. "It seems this time, we have found more than we went looking for... but if what the dragon says is true, we have been taken for fools." Kal Bed, still wreathed in blackness, starts weaving an almost inaudible incantation, his mouth and movements mostly hidden from sight. "So, Rauv, if that really is your name.. you have hidden much. Time to stop playing games. Who among us works for the dragon?", Kal Bed whisper and blows his whisper towards Rauv.

Madness. It had all turned to madness. Fools slinging spells at powers they couldn't comprehend. An adventuring partner turned servant to a nigh-omnipotent (or so it seemed) dragon. He wasn't sure what to make of it all. What he did know, however, is that the Eldrazi were a certain threat. If the dragon had a way to contain them, he would like to hear the plan before attempting to banish them. Unfortunately, other, more impulsive members of the group had already acted. All that was left was to wait and see how things turned out.
I feel as if I should point out, that, unlike the last episode, there is a way for you guys to "win".
I will however, not let you know what it is. You have a few hours left to see if you've already figured it out, or if you still need to figure it out. Sincerely, Your GM PS: It has nothing to do with hindering the progression of the story. So I wouldn't listen to half 95% of what Dr_Demento says.
Also, noting that this is ALMOST OVER
![]() Just start thinking about some critiques. Again, though this episode was longer than last episode, it was done very differently to those who may have participated last time. There are also some things that you don't KNOW yet that I have done differently, that I will reveal afterwards. So, 1) Participate 2) Extrapolate 3) Have fun

Extending his hand, a beautiful flower resides in his arm, entangled around and into his very flesh. It lies there for moments, crooked. However, a raindrop descends from the corner of the eyes of the creature, finding its path to the curled limb. As it's absorbed into the roots, the petals of the flower uncurls, revealing a marvelous metallic sphere. It reflects the dim light that penetrates the room, displaying it in the array of the five colors. Stretched out, it stands, unwavering. Then the kithkin grabs for his amulet with his other hand. He clenches it hard. An ominous light surrounds his hand, as it turns pale. You can barely see the trinket inside, were it not blocked by bones. The creature is deadly silent, almost as if its very breath was taken away. His dark aura embraces him, traveling across his body with jagged edges, as it grasps towards the flower. With nowhere to escape, the darkness encloses it, withers it. The flower grows black. Thorny. The leaves gains the resemblance of jaws. The metal sphere cracks. Within, a dark oil pours out from the sphere, just as it does from the tiny man's eyes. Flooding out, he quickly stands in a puddle, reeking of death. Almost sentient, it slowly moves towards his legs. It sticks to his clothes. Slowly, he becomes submerged in the dark goo. As if nourishing, the flower reacts much more swiftly, and violently. The thorny roots crashes through the black mass and flesh alike, constricting everything it can find. As it seeps in the new liquid, only a solid gray is uncovered beneath it. Underneath it is only a statue of a creature from far away, still crying the putrid oil, as it leaves no trace when it cascades through the unnatural flora. Like a gargoyle, it just stands there. Pouring. Eventually, the leaves of the flower falls. Catched by a gust of wind, it circulates around the statue. Whirling faster and faster, the motion becomes impenetratable by the naked eye. When they slow down and fall to the ground, the kithkin stands there yet again, as if nothing has happened, albeit looking slightly more sickly. Some of you rise to stop him, but Bolas sent a searing fireball your way. Karn raised his arms redirecting his dispersal shield. You were all safe for now, but so wasn't [Chintastica]. You watched in horror as Bolas and Karn had a battle of wits, and as [Chintastica] religiously detaches the star from the amulet. Karn sent a silver fog over towards [Chintastica], but Bolas intervened throwing some stalagmites in front of it. The stalagmites spit and crack and the cloud dissipates, along with the rock. He responded with an earth shattering roar, rending enormous stalactites and dropping them upon the group. Karn protected you all will a special dome. The rock sizzled and turned to smoke above you. Bolas sent a few blasts of fire that fades against the dome before being satisfied. He turned to [Chintastica], whom threw the star of the amulet at the restored Eye of Ugin. "Yes! Phyrexia evolves again! Corrupt the powerful! Bring light to those without! The multiverse shall become strong! Strong like unto me. We shall become the next feared species!" "Even beyond the Ghakim?" "Ahh, so you reveal your knowledge? But yes, together we will grow and transcend this multiverse, just as the Ghakim have. We shall prevail." "At what cost?" "None! As I said before, your friends may make you powerful, but my enemies make me powerful. I have nothing to care for about this wretched multiverse that can't easily be satiated by another! Me and my army of the Restored Phyrexia! You were right Karn, Ugin shouldn't trust me, I am the only planeswalker who knows about other multiverses." "Are you so sure?" Bolas roared, "Don't try to undermine me! Your knowledge is patheitc! This multiverse is patheitc. These planes shall rot in the glory of my new army! Then we can..." "Ugin doesn't trust you, he never has. He knew you were up to no good and is taking actions to stop you. Even now, as we speak." Bolas paused, bemused. He began to laugh slowly, coldly, "Oh, but of course, and you two had a minute telepathic conversation. Don't consider me a fool Karn, I control far more than you anticipate. Nevertheless, I have stayed too long. I must go reclaim my servant; this servant has done his task. Remember this day Karn! Remember it well! All will be one!" [Chintastica] was gone. Bolas faded away as well. Karn turned and placed his head in his hands. "Wherever I go, that oil always follows me. Dominaria, Argentum and now here on Zendikar. Why? What links me to this oil?" He turned to face you all, the group he was struggling to protect. "I must send you all home, to your original timelines. Then, I will retire to somewhere uninhabited. Are you all ready?" You all nodded, tired, exhausted and overwhelmed. Karn raised his arms, preparing a massive spell. He let it loose and you slowly vanished from view. The last sight you see is Karn's expression dropping in a bright green light. He looks bewilderedly at his hands, and his face bears an immense fear. He turns to face the Restored Eye of Ugin. [Dr_Demento] slowly climbs out of his burrow, announcing this: "The oil is everywhere. It's seeping into the ground. Is nowhere safe?" "The hedrons are holding us in. My rope leads right up to it, but I cannot pass through it." [Mown] adds. "We need to move, apparently we aren't leaving this prison." [GeorgeW] states, walking away from the oncoming oil. "We cannot leave, but can we protect ourselves or an area from this oil?" [FiveMinuteCatNap] asks. "If we can't leave, then how did we get in?" [Mown] stubbornly asks. "I don't know, but we have to move, now! We need to find safety before we can think" [Dr_Demento] adds urging the group onwards. You come to the edge of the forest. Hearth Jaunt is a rather common spell, known for its simple and somewhat linear functionality, making it common among newer spellcasters. With its terminal property, it resembles a conjuration spell more than an alternative form of traveling. When executed, the spellcaster is required to localize his destination among previously visited places where he has created an anchor. Afterwards, the person will dematerialize. Invisible streams will flow from the casting point towards the designated anchor, attempting to reconstruct the caster. While the spell carries some risk in enclosed areas, the spread of the spell is usually wide enough to where an alternative route can be found. However, it fares poorly for planar travel, as their reach cannot traverse the vast distances in the blind eternities.

Helpless. My lungs heaved heavily as that particular emotion coursed through me. One second I was trying to slay the dragon and in the next, I struck the floor. Hard. Numbing sensations ran up from my fingertips up to my elbows. Small comfort, compared to the nerve-racking pain I am feeling everywhere else. It hurts to even blink. But I could not scream in pain, I could not even wriggle a toe. All I could do was lie on the floor, watching my companions fight and fall against Bolas, watching the mad wizard betray them in silence and watching the look of horror on Karn's face as he warped the remaining survivors to who-knows-where. I was... helpless. Karn stood rooted to the spot, his mouth mumbling words I could not make out. But his horrified, guilt-ridden expression made it sound like a prayer. Or a confession. "No...no...no... That wasn't..." I jerked and coughed as air swelled and rushed upwards within me, devoiding my lungs of oxygen. Karn's head snapped attentively when I did and he began running towards me, strangely light on his feet. My vision blurred and darkened. My last breath was flowing out of me against my will. This was it. My final moment. My life. Always trying. Taking every failure as a lesson learnt and every success with pride. My mother, the worrywart. Worries too much, worries about my chosen 'profession'. Mastered and chose space manipulation as my magic specialization, partially to set her mind at ease. My home. My friends. Things, so much to do, so much to experience. Except, I am out of time... ...no... ...no... ...No... ...NO!... NO! NOT LIKE THIS!! I screamed. Raw power streaked through my veins as visions clawed their way into my head. Places I had never seen, people I had never met, I had no idea what they meant, no idea what I was looking at. I swiped them away but the visions kept flowing in, like forcing an ocean into a dinky little mug. When they finally stopped and my headache cleared, all that remained was this eerie sense of clarity. I took a deep, long breath. Karn had froze in his tracks, his expression now one of utter atonishment. I wriggled my fingers in disbelief. Then, I wriggled my toes. I was alive. Jariis, Aether Crafter - ![]() ![]() ![]() Planeswalker - Jariis [+1]: You may exile target creature. If you do, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of your next upkeep. [-2]: Draw two cards. You gain 2 life for each permanent that entered the battlefield this turn. [-8]: Exile up to seven target permanents. If a permanent you own is exiled this way, you may return it to the battlefield at anytime this turn. [4] A silvery, ethereal dragon soared gracefully into the room and called, "Karn-" Like the golem, the dragon froze in his tracks. "...The power I felt... is it him?" "Yes, Ugin. His spark had awakened." Spark? Ugin grinned, "Then, this makes three." "Indeed." I asked, "What for?" "To seal this prison shut, thus trapping the Eldrazi for the eternal centuries that is to come, it will require three planeswalkers. Me, Karn and you, young one." The dragon was pointing a talon at me. Me. A planeswalker? What is this planeswalker? This power pulsating in my veins, the visions that swamped my mind, this spark Karn spoke of, so many questions, too many questions, but I knew it was not time to ask. "So, what do I do?" As the ethereal dragon was about to answer, Karn interrupted, "Wait! Ugin..." Adventure's End Show I set foot into the prison. Light shone behind me from the gate's opening, making me feel all holy and heroic. The light created an atmosphere that amplified everything to be ten times more dramatic, specially with Karn standing tall beside me and Ugin, a freaking fire-breathing dragon, towering behind us. Well, I regarded the light as an enormous beacon to these companions I barely knew. And what do you know, the light caught their attention instantly as expected. The corners of my mouth spread into a smile while theirs dropped in surprise, the good kind of surprise. They were taking cover at the edge of a forest but from the looks of it, it was not going to last them any longer. "Hurry." Ugin urged. A river of black oil seperated them from us. I held my sword up high and focused, weaving a spell into the blade. Mana sparkled and a bluish glow engulfed the blade. I swung it down, slicing a crevice across the oil. The oil gushed into the crevice and out of the opening I positioned fifty meters away from them. I tossed the vial of sunlight I kept all this while onto the temporary clearing and muttered, "Luxi Barrum" A tunnel of light solidified. Seeing the clear passage, they ditched whatever they were doing and sprinted. We closed the gate when the last of us stepped out of the prison. Then, we sealed the Eye of Ugin. "So, what will you do now?" Karn asked. "Get out of here for starters, of course." I answered. It was a no-brainer. There was not anything I do like to do more than be out of here and away from this mess. "I can teach you about being a planeswalker if you wish." "Sure." I turned around and looked at the exhausted party... at the exhausted glowing goblin? "HeHEHeHeHEhEheHeHE." The goblin crackled manically. His body begun bloating as he charged towards Karn and Ugin, his skin glowing a dangerous red. "GLORY TO THE MASTER!!!" I raised a shield instantly. Scarlet light filled the room. A thunderous boom echoed throughout the temple. The impact of the explosion flung me across the room and I could sworn I broke a bone or two. Amidst the dust and smoke, the silhouette of Ugin and Karn loomed from the other side of the room, seperated from the rest of us. The temple rumbled, its displeasure at the violent explosion made known to us. The explosion had blasted through the walls and to wherever it could reach, shaking the foundations as it went. The temple was caving in. "Ka..." "...Eye..." "...Go..." My eyes strained for glimpses of the two other planeswalkers. A ringing sound from the explosion still rang in my ears. The ceiling rocks had collapsed into an untidy heap before us. Every second was one second closer to a boulder actually crushing us. I grabbed hold of the companions around me, searching for the familiar feeling of blinking and willing a path to the clearing right outside the temple. I struck a wall. Whatever enchantments that screwed with spell-casting was still in effect, it seems. We were running out of time. I tried again. The wall felt weaker this time but it was not weak enough for me to bring everyone out. I tried again with hope and then again, with despair. It didn't work. Here. An unfamiliar voice whispered in my head. An image crafted itself in my head. There wasn't much of a choice. I focused upon my spell. And tried again. Epilogue Show You woke to the sharp chirping of birds and a dull pain resonating within your chest. You crawled to your feet, rubbing your chest subconciously as you did. Your body was in a world of hurt but it was a good thing. After all, it means you were still alive. Your eyes blinked and looked up. Your last memory was of a caving temple but at this moment, the vast expense of a blue sky filled your vision. A hint of a smile touched your lips. You had been through much, puzzle rooms, oozes, some dragon, a betrayal, the threat of a corrupting black oil, a caving temple and most importantly, you had survived them all. That was what Zendikar was about - survival. Although you had no recollection how you survived the caving temple. But details, why care? You looked towards the horizon, expecting to see the lush forest and steep mountains of Zendikar. Buildings, structures, rows and rows of them, sinking into the horizon, as far as the naked eye could see. Something you would never see in Zendikar. It took you a couple more seconds to realize you were standing on a rooftop. You hurried to an edge and looked over. People pushed their way through the congested streets while beasts of labor trotted along. Rows of shops sat at both sides of the street while merchants promoted their wares fervently. As soldiers dressed in blue and silver patrolled down the streets, citizens hurried to give way. Up above, birds, griffins and strange creatures flew. When a griffin flew by, you caught glimpse of an unseen before sigil upon its adornment. Your other companions begun to stirred, each as bewildered as you were. "Awake?" A man, a companion from the previous adventure whom you came to know as Jariis, asked from the opposite ledge of the roof from where he sat. "Where are we?" Your heart raced. You already knew this can't be anywhere on Zendikar. Jariis paused for a second before he answered, "Welcome, to Ravnica." OOC Show Btw, sry altimis, for not clearing it up with you earlier but I do assume this would be the end? Hope you guys like it (I just have this urge of sending everyone to Ravnica). Oh, and took the liberty of adding a self-destructing, phyrexian-ized goblin into the mix, sry TPmanW.
OOC- NOOOOOO!! Aparently that was not the round to miss.
Also I'm assuming that since I'm still listed as a phyrexianized party member I'm still free to act? Also is Eddned's golem still here and still enchanted? It's all so much clearer. I do not need Ravnica, the world is our domain. We are one. All we be of the one. I will spread the one, bring the outsiders into the fold. My purpose is clear. With a clarity and sense of purpose I have never known, I prepare my act of mercy. OOC- I only do the following if the transputer golem is among the party and still enchanted with the Furnacemonger's Mantle. Spoiler: Show Please tell me I still get an extra colored mana for being a wizard. Phyrexians can have classes too you know! Electro-Repulsion ![]() ![]() Sorcery Return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. ~ deals one damage to that player. "You flip the switch one way and they bang together, thataway and they bang apart!"- Hobowr Zatch, Goblin lab tech OOC-I probably could've gotten away with making it an instant, oh well. I bounce theAtog's enchantment to clear the way to the party. If the transputer golem is with the phyrexian party members I order him to run over and attack the party. We're all Phyrexian so I suppose he should take orders from people other tha Eddned now. Dragonic Surge ![]() ![]() Sorcery Add ![]() ![]() ![]() to your mana pool. Use this mana only to pay the cost of activated abilities."What is not one, must be claimed, what cannot be claimed must be scoured"- Hobwor Zatch I use four mana to activate the aura on Eddned's golem once it gets near the party. Activating it the fourth time causes the aura to deal 10 damage to the enchanted creature. If it's okay I'm interpreting this as a rather large explosion that will do at least a fraction of the 10 damage to everbody caught up in it. OOC- Otherwise I do this: Spoiler: Show Electro-Repulsion ![]() ![]() Sorcery Return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. Skyblazing ![]() ![]() Instant Target creature you control gets +2/+0 and gains haste and flying until end of turn. Sacrifice that creature at the beginning of your next end step. "The most fun I ever had in an experiment. Im going to miss that ear though" - Hobwor Zatch I cast the spell on myself and attack the party.
And THAT is the end of Reactionary - Episode 2: Treasures of Zendikar.
Jariis (with permission) will hopefully be a recurring character.
So is ConfusedAsUsual's ending cannon? I assumed that only Altimis had the power to do that.
Don't I at least get to kill anybody? Maybe I should have tried to make some kind of delayed resurection spell out of just CCC with and so I could've "survived", that would have been interesting.
Nope. Well, yes.
I had several volunteers for this game to get people more invested into this episode. I asked Chintastica to be the antagonist. I asked someone (TPmanW I recall) to stop the group from splitting up / killing anyone without solid proof. I asked ConfusedAsUsual to be a planeswalker, and take care of the end. Marking the official end of this episode.. How can I deny the awesomeness of the next episode being in Ravnica (thanks ot ConfusedAsUsual)! I will obviously need time to work witht he story, but you have been told! I would like to send a massive thank you to participants! And a massiver thank you to those who assisted me in the storycrafting process. I hope you all enjoyed the ride, and I hope you enjoyed it more than the one where I just randomly killed you all in the end. Comments, questions, gripes, complaints, what you liked, what you didn't like etc... From this one, I'm planning on doing more secret tasks unless people disapprove of it. But I found it to my liking. (Feel free to disagree). Example: What made the first puzzle unbearable and the second one bearable etc. Things so I can improve the game quality. Also, finally over, I will open up for people if they desire comments/grades on cards. It will be a long and arduous process, but I know some of you are out there; I just ask that you be patient if you wish critique. Once again, thank you! And Dr_Demento for making me work for my nonpaid story-telling money :p
You're welcome Altimis. I should probably be thanking you, but hey,it's more praise for me the way you did it!
So does the party consisting of GeorgeW, Mown, theAtog and Myself (and some others I can't think of off the top of my head) just like, die inexplicably?
to my knowledge us surivors did survive, we were taken out of the prison and put into ravnica
![]() also mown did die. *stares ominously* he scattered into oblivion
I feel proud to be in the group that got to do that.
Alright, so... feedback anyone?
It can only get better if I know what went wrong lol.
The whole overall was a good event.
Only possible upgrades for the future i can think of is. - inventory limit - enchantment limits - creature summoning limits - characters do die (i know this could of happened but the lack of it kinda stood out to me) one interesting aspect if you wish to do so is have a single player as the one of the known villians and have them pm you their actions. Up to you though.
Boss fights? Give the boss a hp stat and stuff, like those in games.
Make it more clear what the stakes of the rounds are. When we met up with Bolas for instance I assumed that it was more of an information gathering round.
PS. I already know who I want to bring to Reactionary 2. I'll give you a hint- he showed up in a lot of my flavour text.
