"Whoa, what?!" I say as I watch the food mage Karpos dissappear in front of my eyes. "Trippy." I see the goblin begin to freak out. "Dude, don't panic! That's literally the worst idea right now. Here, eat this." I produce a small red berry from my bag. I keep these on me because they make me relax when I'm stressed.

Target creature is indestructible and can't attack this turn.

Nothing can hurt you if you don't feel a need to engage.

He shifted uneasily, eyes rapidly moving and taking in the whole clearing. If this was a joke, it wasn't a funny one. If it was some invisible beast or clutch of sorcery... Well, he'd best be prepared. For now, the important thing was ensuring that nothing went wrong. The man attempting to feed the goblin a... berry? candy? No matter, anyway. The man attempting to feed the goblin had the best idea. Keep the group calm and collected. The last time he'd had to deal with an adventuring group that had gone mad... Well, there weren't many bodies to feed off of when the magic had finished flying. Though, he didn't really like sucking the blood from the veins of the dead. Too sluggish, too cold.

"I would suggest we make way to the temple post-haste. Whatever the reason he disappeared, I think we can all agree this clearing is far too exposed to deal with an ambush."

Having spent his time, as usual, gathering flowers, the kithkin returns to the camp. His previous guile disappears as he attempts to address the group.

Assuming Chin has given up on his previous intentions:
"So impatient, taking conclusions for one side, never stopping to consider the other. Merely attempting to utter the words made him vanish. Could have been a warning to stay as much as to run.

Temples are rarely inviting. Why do we aim to make our home amidst the fallen gods?"

Not waiting for any response, he walks away as if he never said anything to begin with. He scrapes up some dirt, drops a seed into it, and molds it into a ball. He sprinkles a few crumbled leaves on it, coloring it in orange and red, before carelessly dropping it on the ground. He takes a few steps back as it plummets into the ground, and a puff of leaves fly into the air. A twig appears and reaches for the leaves almost intanstaneously. Upon impact, they connect and blossom, each gaining five beautiful petals in red. The petals quickly turn brow, then green, before they wither away. As they fall off, the wind catches them and throws them in a circual motion around the tree. They quickly disintegrate in the wind, and behind it, a rotten tree stands in a gnarled and curious shape.

I cast a spell on a seed that does things.

Consult the Earth

Kicker
Reveal your hand. If ~'s kicker cost was paid, each player reveals his or her hand instead.
Put all land cards revealed this way onto the battlefield under your control.

It's a scrying spell. I want to know what happened here. I don't expect anyone else to be able to interpret the results, but they're free to try if they want to decipher the gnarled tree. It's a pretty potent spell, but gives mostly vague results.

I cast the kicker on it if I can. Depends on whether you give me my plant bonus from before or not for it.
This also means I won't bother trying to play mute like I originally intended. I might have stated that he was during the last rpg thingy.

He walks towards the bush, before taking a solid grip on one of the branches and brutally snaps it off. Quickly backpeddaling, he distances himself from the party and the bush. Somewhat nervous in motion, he scrapes off the bark with his nails, making an eerie screeching sound. The pupils in his eyes have decreased in size, and shifts between the party members with great suspicion. As his gaze reaches Chin, he buries his feet in the ground. As if a reflex, his leftmost hand stretches out to catch the twig as it's swung into motion by his other arm, a sharp edge pointing outwards of him in an aggressive fashion. A drop of sweat drips from his left hand, and trails down the wood until it hits his other thumb.

Somewhat suddenly, his anxiety seems to fade as the branch glides through one of his hands and hits the ground. It's clear, however, that his grip on it is still quite firm.

Real subtle, Mown.

On the topic of my permanents. I'm probably going to use focus a bit, which last until my next action, usually indicated with my post having something in bold. You can skip writing those down.
I don't know if you really need to write this one down. I'll probably discard it soon.

Just so you all know this round will close some point today. If there is need for an extension of course I will extend it, but I want that to not happen if at all possible.

Plan on this being a 12 hours warning unless otherwise noted.
20 to 24 hours warning.

Also, thus far according to my count: We have two people for going to the temple. We have two people for NOT going to the temple.

I already found fault.
I'm planning on being asleep at that time. So... instead of making this your five hour warning... I'll prolong it to early sunday morning at the earliest.

I suggest entering the temple.

"Friends! The temple! The temple is the way to go. Trust me. I know the way. Answers may be there. And the way back. Back to our own time. But we best prepare ourselves."

I start emptying the contents of my pockets, searching intently for the reagent necessary to cast the spell I have in mind. Within seconds, the ground is covered with dozens of odd-looking trinkets. A collection of cogs and wires welded together at weird angles. A small pocket watch with hands that turn backwards. A dagger with a glow that was somehow both bright as day and black as night. A completely mundane-looking amulet - a glass star attached to a steel chain.

I catch the Kor healer staring at the dagger, and quickly stow it away. "Best not to look. Not for too long. Does funny things to your head. Seconds become hours. Days become minutes." I finally find what I was looking for -  a small azure orb, perfectly spherical, no bigger than the size of a fingernail. I crush it into dust while muttering arcane chants under my breath. Blue sparks crackle through the air around me.

I enchant myself with:

Chronosphere
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant player
Whenever enchanted player become the target of a spell, if that spell was cast from a player's hand, exile it with a time counter on it. It gains suspend.
The expression "never saw it coming" was unfamiliar to seasoned chronomancers of the Academy.

The spell of protection complete, I begin packing up my things. "Follow me! Best if I lead the way. I'm well protected."

I head in the direction of the temple, beckoning for the others to follow.
I have a sig because it gives my posts better spacing.

"Everything hides something. Something hides everything. When I search for questions, one of you would already know the answer.

The one with the bubble. Is it to keep something out, or would he rather keep something in?"

I speak.
