I have a feeling that Richard Garfield built the entire Innistrad block with his bare hands. A lot of the designs show signs of his distinct style. I wouldn't be surprised if no one else (except maybe his atomic family) had a hand in the block's development.

Question #2: Why doesn't society value honesty these days?

I do know of plenty of cards designed by Garfield by himself. Some cards in Innistrad block do smell entirely of him, but I disagree that all do.

Is the atomic family the nuclear family plus electrons?

And while it's easy to see Garfieldian cards , they're not all over the set.

Also, what are you doing around? Didn't you use your alias to aviod a ban?

Also, I was going to give you a fortune cookie that said "May you live in interesting times." but my browser crashes when I try to write in Chinese on this forum.

Mirror-Mad Phantasm actually feels more like a Rosewater card to me. I'm pretty good at discenring their distinct styles. Arcane Melee , Seance , Bump in the Night , Lost in the Mist , Eaten by Spiders , and Splinterfright , and Shattered Perception are more along the lines of some with this distinct signature.

Why would they hide Garfield's contributions?  Telling people that the set was made by Garfield would make it more popular if anything.  And what makes you believe that honesty is valued less in today's society than that of yesteryear?  Also, how are you an expert on styles?  What makes you any more of an expert than any of us?

Your posts leave too many questions unanswered.

We can only deduct why such a thing would happen, unless they tell us the truth themselves. Discernment was once believed to be a divine talent, gifted by God; it literally relates to the ability to know good from evil, right from wrong, or true from lies. Without it, you never question anything, and you believe everything you're told foolishly. There were just as many manipulative evil people back then, specially in the religious scene, so discernment was a very important concept.

There has always been evil and lies in the world, but morals and virtues seem to be honored less and less as society gets more technologically advanced, and becomes more "socially lax"; getting more and more careless.

I'm just stating my perspective on the issue, I'm not trying to say I'm a master of anyone's style. You're taking it that way because you've made an enemy of me, you won't even think to interact with me in any way other than in a negative manner. That's the natural effects of making an enemy of someone, that's just how people seem to naturally act. Just wanted to point out, that presumption seems to come from this negative plan of action. I'm not trying to claim that, and even if I was, that would be a major overreaction over it. Life is good for you, right? Well, just relax and don't worry about trivialities anymore. I'm not so fortunate, I really don't need any more trivialities than I already have. I hope you can understand.

Well, now that we've firmly established that he's still in la-la land, I don't know what else discussion there is to have. I mean, to start with we have it on record that Richard Garfield is the designer of Mirror-Mad Phantasm and although we can choose to doubt this, doing so seems incredibly pointless.

I mean, if we can't trust the word of the designers on the team as to whether or not a member of the team designed a card, there's really not much point in analyzing any further is there? We simply don't have any other sources of information upon which to rely.

I think at that point you can only turn to the experts for good info.

Back when I was in high school, I used to write little quotes on the whiteboard of my chemistry class, little, funny things that I'd made up and attributed to an anonymous author.  Just tiny things I found amusing.  Some time near the end of the year, a substitute teacher game in, read it, and told us a quote she had heard from a 13 year old girl.  I don't remember what it was, but the quote sounded deep and philosophical.  Then I actually thought about it.  I realized that the quote was actually meaningless, but simply couched in the language of philosophy and depth.  And that's what your post is.  It is meaningless bull**** that you said in such a way as to make it seem sophisticated.  But just as a lab coat doesn't make you a scientist, language won't make you a philosopher.  Only love of wisdom will.  And until then, you will always remind me of a nameless 13 year old.
